Kate Nicholl, from Market Street, Llanrhaeadr ym Mochnant, is to open her garden for charity.

00:00So I'm Kate Nicholl and this is the garden of Klaasin Llan which is one of the five gardens in

00:17Llanreide and Mognant which is opening for the National Garden scheme on Saturday afternoon. So

00:23I've been here for 15 years. I absolutely love this garden. It's got so many plants jammed in. The

00:30idea is that hopefully there aren't too many weeds but I don't know that you'd notice even if there

00:34were any. And we've also got quite a few apple trees that I've put in. I used to be the gardener

00:40at Attingham Park and this is a little memento for me of all the fruit trees I planted there

00:45about 10-15 years ago. So we open at 12 o'clock and you can park in the village hall which is just

00:52behind this garden here and get your ticket and then walk around all five gardens and

00:57there's tea and cake and plants for sale.
