00:04seeing through what this was, yet another Hail Mary.

00:09As we indicated going into this this morning,

00:13I had filed a recusal motion based on the information I got.

00:18It finally has crystallized as to why and what the motivations are on Mr. Hockman.

00:24For those of you who have been around the criminal justice system for

00:29more than five minutes,

00:30you'll realize that for the DA himself to come in here and

00:35argue in court is not only demeaning to his deputies who are very talented,

00:41but it shows the degree of involvement and how personal it is.

00:46It was revelatory to me that his dad and he and

00:51their law firm represented the Jose Menendez's erstwhile business partner in

00:58a tax dispute, but it basically tells you exactly why he's gone to these lengths.

01:06Something else was brought up about, I believe it was Lyle saying that there was some potential

01:11narcissistic tendencies or minimalizations still exist.

01:14Is that what you believe is happening?

01:17I actually, when he brought that up, I was going to say, Mr. Hockman,

01:20are they talking about you and the potential narcissistic tendencies?

01:24That was my immediate reaction.

01:25Can you imagine if we did a psychological assessment of Mr. Hockman in this case?

01:29It would be wild to get the conclusion.
