00:36Comfort is key for me.
00:37I love a good turtleneck during the winter.
00:39I love wearing flats.
00:40And once I find my uniform for the season, I kind of stick to it throughout.
00:44I'm always in, like, baggy jeans, and Congress and Vans are the only shoes in my closet.

00:58I was a health and phys ed teacher, so I basically wore sweats and track suits all my life.
01:03Nowadays, as I got older, I wear black, black, and more black.
01:07My personal style is functional, fashionable, and it's just comfortable.

01:21It's a cardigan.
01:22Super soft.
01:23It's like a mint, like a soft mint green.
01:26It has these really pretty wooden buttons.
01:29I don't normally wear cropped.

01:33I look at the fact that it was like a little crop top.
01:35I was a little concerned about the fact that it was cut kind of wide and kind of cropped.
01:40When I first saw it, it felt like it would be suited for someone else.
01:45I thought the texture was perfect.
01:47I thought it was really soft, well-made, and I loved the wooden buttons, too.
01:50When I was trying to style this, I started pulling things out of my closet that I haven't worn in a while.
01:58I wanted outfits that, like, I knew I'd wear, like, day-to-day, but then I also wanted a few outfits that I was looking at that were, like, a little, like, pushing my comfort zone, like, something a little more classy.
02:08I had to do a little digging, but I had some good ideas.

02:21I didn't want to pair it with anything that was solid, so I knew that I had to pair it with something that was either, like, colorful or a different pattern.
02:30This pattern goes really well with the sweater because it had, like, little bits of teal, little bits of blue, little bits of green.
02:37So, I'm really doing it.
02:39For me, my figure is a little bit more, like, hourglossy, so what I did was try to find textures that would be more flattering.
02:47I really thought about how I would still feel like me.
02:50So, something that didn't make it feel really dowdy and something that didn't feel too young.
02:57I thought because the sweater's a little bit wide, maybe I should go, like, sort of tighter on the bottom.
03:02And, yeah, that's about it.
03:04What I like about the look that I'm wearing is it feels comfortable, but at the same time, I do feel put together.
03:13I love a denim-on-denim look and saw, like, the lighter patchwork in the jeans and thought, why not give it a try?
03:20And so, I just got lucky.
03:23I love my pleather pants because they're comfortable, they fit nicely, and they can go with pretty much anything.
03:31The purse kind of matches my little gray boots, maybe a little bit chappy-chic.
03:37I love the color.
03:38It was definitely a color that would pull me, like, to it in, like, a section.
03:41And I love the fit.
03:42I love that the sleeves have this little, like, bubble-like thing going on.
03:45I look cute, but I also, like, still feel, like, comfortable and confident in what I'm wearing.
03:49I feel really comfortable.
03:50I think it's both girly, it's a little sexy, but not too much.
03:54And I also love that it added a pop of color to my normal outfits.
03:59I feel pretty good in this look.
04:01These are my favorite pants at the moment.
04:04I love the third leg.
04:05I don't care what my 22-year-old kids say.
04:08And I'm wearing it with one of my favorite necklaces and my very favorite bracelet, which was a gift for my kids, by the way.
04:15One word to describe this outfit would be slimming and maybe fun.
04:19I do like the contrast of the black against the green.
04:22I like that layered look where it's a, kind of gives a character, a little dimension.
04:27I feel like I was looking through my closet and I saw the skirt and I was like, yeah.
04:31Especially because, like, it has bits of green and bits of blue in it.
04:35And it just makes me feel happy.
04:37I think it's very casual, comfortable, nice type of outfit to wear anywhere.
04:41An evening date.
04:42If you're going to, like, a downtown area for, like, a cute, like, brunch or something with your friends.
04:47You know, anything where I want to look a little bit nicer.
04:49I would wear it to the office.
04:50I would wear it to pick up my kids after school.
04:54If you want something comfortable to go out to do crafts with your friends, it's the perfect outfit.
04:58I could wear it pretty much anywhere, you know.
05:00I could dress it down and wear sneakers with it and just, like, go run errands with it.
05:04Or I could just put on some boots and, like, go to the office.
05:07When I'm deciding what to wear, I go to my daughter.
05:11My daughter tells me what looks good, what doesn't look good.
05:15Age appropriate, but I don't want to grow up, so maybe I'm not so age appropriate.
05:20I definitely look at both TikTok and Instagram.
05:22TikTok is, like, just such a useful resource because you see other girls who are, like, mixing and matching different outfits.
05:28And it just gives you, like, new ideas, especially because, like, fashion is, like, so subjective, like, nowadays.
05:32I'm always looking at social media.
05:34And I save all my inspiration into one folder.
05:37I want to look nice.
05:38I don't want to just wear the same old clothes.
05:40I think that that changes as you get older as well.
05:42You try to think more about yourself a little.
05:44I was worried that I didn't have anything that was casual enough.
05:48And when I tried to pair some of the dress-up stuff with the sweater, it just didn't go.
05:53It's interesting.
05:54As I've gotten older, I actually lost weight and became more fit.
05:57And I found that I'm not afraid to wear tighter clothes.
06:01Even though I do still wear sometimes big sweaters, I also wear things tucked in, which I didn't do for many, many years.
06:07And now that I have become a little more healthier, I feel like I can kind of go outside my box a little.
06:13I'm getting emotional.
06:14Would I buy the cardigan for myself on my own?
06:17That's a good question.
06:18I might buy something like this in, like, a more neutral color.
06:22I would definitely purchase this on my own.
06:24I'm one of those people who buy the same item in different colors.
06:28So I could see myself buying this in, like, a brown, a camel.
06:32At first, I would have said no.
06:33I wouldn't have picked out this sweater for myself.
06:35But now, yes.
06:36Having tried it on with the shirt underneath.
06:39Now that I have it, I'm like, yeah, I'm going to wear it all the time.
06:44It was really fun to see how everybody put their look together.
06:47And I feel like their style really shows through all of their outfits.
06:50And I feel like we're price mates.
06:53Yeah, it does get price mates.
06:56I think they both look great.
06:57I think it's amazing how you take one piece of clothing, make it look one way, another way,
