Trump Responds To Thom Tillis Stating He'll Vote Against Ed Martin For U.S. Attorney

Speaking to reporters in the Oval Office, President Trump responded Sen. Thom Tillis (R-NC) stating he'll vote against Ed Martin.

00:07Well, it's disappointing because, you know, I know Eddie's very talented. Crime is down in

00:12Washington, D.C. Street crime, violent crime by 25 percent. And it's people have seen they've

00:20noticed a big difference. So I haven't I didn't know that. But if he if anybody voted against

00:27so I feel very badly about it, only in the sense that in this short period of time that

00:32he's been there, crime is down 25 percent in Washington, D.C. But that's really up to the

00:37senators. If if they feel that way, they have to vote the way they vote. They have to follow

00:42their heart and they have to follow their mind.
