'Careful What You Wish For': Markwayne Mullin Sends Message To 'Liberals' After Ed Martin Nomination Pulled

In a video posted on social media Friday, Sen. Markwayne Mullin (R-OK) spoke about Ed Martin, President Trump's former nominee for DC Attorney.

00:00Hey, we're wrapping up the week here in Washington, D.C.

00:03And yes, I'm dressed pretty casual because I absolutely hate traveling in a suit.

00:08But before we run to the airport, I just want to give you a couple of rundowns.

00:11You know, there was a lot of dust-up about a U.S. attorney pick for D.C.

00:16that didn't quite make it through the confirmation part.

00:19His name was Ed Martin, a good friend of President Trump's,

00:22a gentleman that I haven't had the privilege of meeting.

00:25Chairman Jason Smith talks highly of him.

00:26But it's interesting, just because he got pulled from being a U.S. attorney,

00:32he's now going to be lead investigating some of the, I would say,

00:37the biggest cover-ups from the Biden administration,

00:40really digging down to the truth, trying to figure out what took place.

00:43And there's one assignment already assigned to him.

00:45You're going to see other assignments.

00:46So for all these liberals that are out there outing hooray that they think they stopped Ed Martin,

00:53be careful what you wish for, because your dirty secrets might just be exposed.

00:57Either way, the Republicans in the House, in the Senate, in the White House

01:02have never had a more unified conversation about delivering for the American people

01:07and getting this government working for you again.
