00:00I'm going to live with world's best bodybuilder for 24 hours straight and we're starting early because
00:07He wakes up at 5 30 a.m. Here we go
00:11One of the best bodybuilders in the world is about to pick me up for a workout
00:15That's something I never thought I'd say. There he is. This is Ryan Terry
00:19He started working out at 14 years old and in his 21 years of bodybuilding
00:23He has won every big prize there is because last year after placing eighth seventh sixth fifth
00:30Fourth third and second. He finally won the biggest bodybuilding prize. There is Mr
00:35Olympia and 12 weeks from now he will be defending his title
00:38So I'm following the routine of the number one in the world to see what it takes
00:42Eat all the meals do multiple workouts in a day and he will even critique my physique
00:47And he picked me up in a car that he won last year
00:49It turned up after I won Olympia. No paperwork, nothing. He gave me this
00:54What? How you doing? Yeah, I'm alright, thank you. I'm getting picked up
00:57By one of the best bodybuilders in the world. Ryan has his own gym. So that's where his day starts
01:03And his public gym is insane. Right, come on in. This is beautiful. Thank you. It's got my initials everywhere
01:09So I've designed this how I would use this place
01:11So each row is a different muscle part seven of these machines in here
01:15I've helped design. We've got like the core abdominal area here
01:18This guy has the best pair of abs in the world and we went right into a workout. Right, so we work out
01:24What are we starting with? So all we're going to do is warm up and then we'll be focusing on abdominal
01:28So it'll be an hour in total. Fastest workout
01:31Focused on cardio and abs. Will that give me your abs?
01:35In 21 years time. Yeah, you've been doing bodybuilder for 21 years. 21 years this year speed six speed six
01:41I've walked at six for the last 15 years six, so I know that's my number six
01:46Yeah, as we start to get closer to the show
01:48I'll start to incline just to make it that little bit more difficult. No incline yet
01:51Not yet. No, because we're still 12 weeks out. This is cardio. Why start with cardio?
01:56Why not with the workout and cardio later in the morning? I'm in my uh, my fasted state
02:01I've not eaten for eight hours. All your body's going to use for energy is stored fat
02:05Do you keep track of how many calories you burn? I don't know
02:08Like I say a lot of people do and it works for a lot of people
02:10I just don't get too consumed with numbers and facts and stuff. I just get in
02:15Switch off for an hour and you don't look at how many calories you eat. No, no numbers today
02:19There'll be weights. You'll see the weight of food. All right, 10 minutes done
02:22I need to try and hit the the RT after walking it was time for some high intensity cardio to get our heart rate up
02:29This does get the heart rate up
02:38My heart rate is already like 150 for one minute in this workout
02:41Normally, I'm still asleep at this time. We just started because the next part of his workout is
02:49Ones on abdominals, punching
02:51Skipping for a minute. Minute on, minute off. Yeah, and go
02:5710 seconds
02:59You feel a minute of that. All right, here we go. Don't whip me in the face, please. Let's not injure Ryan's hair right before the show
03:03All right, let's go
03:06Most bodybuilders hate cardio. Why do you love it? Because that's why I'm number one
03:12I'm only joking. If you're number one, you can be a liver cock sometimes
03:16No, that's just not me. Cardio is really important to you, right? It is, yeah
03:19I want to be able to be a fit dad as well as a bodybuilder. I'm a son's of an age now playing football, swimming, gymnastics
03:25So really for the health and also to get more shredded for the show. Oh, we weren't done yet
03:29You shouldn't forget this is all fasted. Leg raise, skier
03:33Oh
03:35This man's abs routine is insane
03:41Then I had my first ab check of the day. Let's have a look at midsection, natural light. Nice
03:46Okay, very symmetrical abs
03:48Awesome. I mean, he just got my abs symmetrical. This is only a workout once
03:54Less said
03:56I thought we just did the abs part of the workout, but it wasn't there is way more
03:59Still got abs to do after this. Sorry? Still got abs to do after this. This is warming your abs up ready for abs
04:05Wait, there's more abs after this. Ready to die. Here we go
04:12He wasn't joking more abs
04:14They say bodybuilders don't train abs or do cardio, but you do both. Yeah
04:18Nice, man. Awesome. Let's go. Let's go. Next Mr. Olympia. Come on. You see this?
04:23Just it's not heavy this I want you to really squeeze your abs make it heavy
04:26You know, I don't trust you anymore when you say this is not heavy
04:29Exhale everything out when you come down exhale everything and squeeze and hold squeeze squeeze and then back up
04:35Nice. Yeah good. What we're looking for each and every rep perfect
04:40You said this workout would take exactly an hour. That's the last set 30 seconds to go. Don't even have a clock
04:46Last rep then make it count
04:50Good we're gonna go into the posing room now. This is my secret. This is your secret. This is my secret
04:55I'm letting everybody know my secret right now
04:57We're practicing to be able to pose when you're on stage
05:00You've got to make it look effortless and you've got to make it look as though it's second nature to you
05:04You ever see somebody on stage when they're shaking and if you ever seen something
05:08If they've got it, they don't know how to control it and you get marked down severely on stage if you do that
05:12And you're always smiling on stage. Yeah, trying to it's a fake smile top off. Let's do this
05:18He looks insane and this is 12 weeks out from the show his body will only look crazier and crazier
05:23Do you still dare to take off your top? No, I'm over our head. Good inhale and then exhale
05:30Hold for three seconds
05:32Back out
05:34And this is actually way harder than it looks
05:36What?
05:42That's one round three rounds
05:47There's a full workout later this day
05:50How often do you weigh in once once a week once a week? Yeah, you have a goal weight
05:53I have to be 202 pounds and your start weight at 230. We do it then. Yeah, let's weigh
05:58So we're exactly where we need to be those abs are insane. Yeah in 12 weeks time, they'll be winning
06:05I will do a weigh in two. Yeah, that's it
06:08That's a good way though. I say you lean. It's a good way. Well, I am hungry. So let's go eat
06:14So is diet more important than working out?
06:17100% nutrition is key to everything like how you feel how efficient you are in the gym
06:22Everything comes down to nutrition like 20% is training 80% is food food
06:27Even though he's trying to lose weight
06:28He still eats a lot of meals as you'll see today and every meal has its purpose
06:32So he thought about the perfect breakfast all of this makes up the perfect meal to start today. Yeah, exactly
06:38Okay breakfast meal one, you know when they say breakfast is the most important meal a day
06:42I think it is complex carbohydrate
06:44Antioxidants with blueberries peanut butter or almond butter for your
06:48essential fats a fast-acting potassium and sugar like fructose whey protein, which is a fast-acting protein source
06:55It's even with water go in water. Wow, doesn't this look amazing?
06:59Have faith trust the process then I actually realized something Ryan Terry is making my breakfast. I knew he was gonna say
07:06Sit down you can't eat standing can you? It's a real bodybuilder meal though. Yeah, first meal of the day
07:11We need this energy a meal of around a thousand calories. We're making you crazy about calories
07:15I know I'm gonna start counting calories now
07:17No, no, don't don't don't you've won without how many meals are there going down to five meals now? I was eating sick
07:23I just found it easy to increase the food volume in each meal and have less imports
07:28Went down quite well, Stan. I like it. He's a believer. First meal done. Let's go shopping then. We need more food. Let's go
07:34This is your once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to go shopping with a pro bodybuilder and see what goes on in his mind
07:40We got the protein here. So we need the basic
07:42Chicken first thing that comes to mind right now. How expensive is bodybuilding very expensive
07:47The thing is as well
07:48You can get sponsors who cook your food and have meal preps and that sort of thing and I did that for a while
07:52But I'm doing it myself and I know yeah
07:54Everything that's in that meal is come from me next up rice rice is kind of cheap
07:58Yeah
07:59It depends if you're on a budget if you're on a budget you can make this really cheap
08:02But we're past that stage for me now
08:04I just want to get the best that I can and I don't use sauces
08:07We always go for mixed herbs smoked paprika garlic granules or pink Himalayan salt all that
08:13There's no calories in there. This is my little hidden gem. This is what not a lot of bodybuilders will have
08:17Soy sauce
08:18Low cannery
08:18Well, I have it on a lot of my meals
08:20And of course we couldn't forget
08:21Eggs
08:22Exactly
08:23Exactly
08:24All bodybuilders gotta have eggs
08:26But also of course the rice chicken the broccoli the golden trio
08:30You're not a bodybuilder unless you've got those three in your car
08:33Then we're done
08:33Everybody here seemed to know right and he actually felt kind of weird with so many cameras around him
08:37He is a super down-to-earth guy 90 pounds that's that's not bad that'll feed feed us for two days
08:42All right, let's meal prep a lot of people say they don't have enough time to cook
08:46There's no excuses really you could cook six meals easily in 13 minutes on that watch time on instagram
08:51It'll be a lot longer than 13 minutes
08:53But these are all the meals for the rest of the day
08:55Yeah, Ryan needs to cook a lot of meals because he does everything himself
08:58Let's see how long it takes to cook these eight meals first up boiling water get the rice cooking
09:04He's running
09:06Quick panic in
09:08So now that's on got the chicken
09:10He is in his zone you've got a massive airfryer too
09:12There's a lot of food to eat
09:14You have your own gym
09:15How do you manage that while being one of the best bodybuilders?
09:18It has been challenging I must admit I was a bit naive really
09:21I always wanted a gym
09:22But I didn't realize like the running of it
09:23Day-to-day stuff what you just wouldn't even think of
09:25When did it open?
09:26January 2nd so seven months now
09:28It is amazing the community down there is brilliant
09:30How many people are now a member of the gym?
09:32Members we're about just over 800 now
09:34800 members yeah 800 members
09:36This man has got a gym
09:38Kids prepping
09:40Anything and I'm doing nothing
09:42If you hang off this air of a side of helicopters that's pretty cool
09:45I only see a lot of healthy food
09:47Do you always only eat healthy stuff?
09:48So also even in off season when you're bulking you would be eating this but then in higher amounts?
09:53Yes and maybe put sauces on it
09:54You do have a favorite cheap meal?
09:56Yeah so cheesecake factory
09:58Cheesecake factory
09:59For a cheesecake factory smoked house burger
10:01Sweet potato fries with an oreo milkshake
10:04And yes we will actually eat this massive cheap meal at the end of the video
10:06It's a good amount of rice
10:08Look at them Stan
10:09That looks really good
10:11Right
10:13There we have it
10:14Got one more to prep
10:15I want to get avocados in in the day
10:16So that was my little secret weapon there
10:18A bit of soy sauce
10:18Four poached eggs
10:20Eight rice cakes
10:21You alright there Stan?
10:22No why am I so useless?
10:23No no no no no no no no
10:24How many bodybuilders does it take?
10:26Voila!
10:27He even makes mine first
10:28You're a guest
10:29That's how we roll
10:30Right so the yolks can be runny
10:31So when you bite into it
10:33It's gonna go everywhere
10:33So it's quite messy
10:34You call it
10:35Coshman's McMuffin
10:37Oh no fair play
10:38Carb soy
10:39Avocado
10:40Egg
10:40Salt
10:41Great
10:41Diet wise
10:42After 21 years you're still struggling
10:44It's getting harder as I get older
10:45But not because I don't want it as much or anything like that
10:47I think when I was obviously younger
10:49I just live on my own and just eat when I wanted to eat
10:51Sleep when I wanted to sleep
10:52Whereas now family life or whatever is harder
10:55But you're cooking your meals yourself
10:56There's no chefs
10:57There's no coaches
10:58Like has it always been that way?
11:00When I started out bodybuilding
11:01I had a guy
11:02Old school guy
11:03And we worked together for about 10 years
11:04I learned the ways
11:05And he was the only guy who
11:07Was very blunt and to the point
11:08And they're the people you need
11:09You don't need yes men around you
11:10You need somebody who's gonna tell you
11:12Yeah you look crap
11:12So he was always someone I trusted a lot in the early days
11:14And I learned a lot from him
11:15But then yeah when he retired
11:17I know enough now to do it myself
11:19So if I come last on stage
11:20Then I can't say it was because of his fault
11:22Or his fault
11:23It's my fault
11:23It clearly worked
11:24This has been really good so far
11:25I mean you build a great physique before having a family
11:28Yeah
11:29Now you have a family as well
11:30Even less time
11:32Less sleep
11:32How do you manage everything?
11:34I don't know
11:35No it's just one of those things where
11:36You kind of
11:37If you want something bad enough
11:38Then you've just got to make it work
11:39So I always wanted a family kid
11:41And stuff like that
11:42And I wanted to be able to be a good dad to them
11:43And have a good social life
11:45At the same time
11:45I want to be the best in the world
11:46At what I do with competitiveness
11:48Like in bodybuilding and stuff
11:49Slowly transitioned into work, work, work, work
11:51I became a workaholic
11:52And like everything was getting sacrificed
11:53Especially in my family life
11:54Even though I was around the present
11:56I was always like yeah
11:56But I need to keep working now
11:58Mr. Olympia
11:59I need to do more
11:59I need to do
12:00And it got to a point where we weren't living
12:02So three weeks ago
12:03So it's very new
12:04Very present
12:05But two holidays back to back
12:06With the family
12:07Before I start my prep
12:08And just really making
12:10Conscious efforts now
12:11To get that balance
12:12I mean I don't have a family
12:13I do work 24-7
12:15So I know I have a girlfriend
12:16She lets you know
12:17It sounds like he's busy 24-7
12:20So I had to ask
12:21Why make a commercial gym?
12:22To have even more pressure almost
12:24Yeah I know
12:25I actually was going to retire last year
12:26From bodybuilding
12:27Because I set a career resume in 2010
12:30All the titles I wanted
12:31Other than the Olympia
12:32I'd reached all of them last year
12:34We made the decision to
12:35Step away from stage last year
12:36That's why I set the gym up and stuff
12:38Because I knew in the future
12:40I'd need something for my family
12:42And for my kids
12:43And that sort of thing
12:43So then obviously winning it
12:45I've changed things a little bit
12:47For a few years
12:47So not retiring this year?
12:50No not yet
12:51Let's check out the gym
12:53This is your gym?
12:54This is my gym
12:55Matt posted that it costs 5 million
12:58Exaggerated a little bit there Matt
13:01But it has a lot of stuff
13:02It's not just the gym
13:03So we want to try and do like
13:04A one-stop shop for everybody
13:05So all the other businesses
13:06Wait wait RT cuts?
13:08He's shut on a Monday
13:09But I've got the key
13:09So we're going to open it and show you
13:10So you can get a workout in here
13:12You can eat here
13:12You can get your hair done here
13:14Get a cut?
13:15Yeah we've got the cut
13:16Absolutely phenomenal
13:17Completely full
13:18They're very very busy barbers
13:20Hence why I've got a beanie hat on
13:21I can't even get into my own barbers
13:22We've then got
13:23Aesthetica RT
13:25Like skincare
13:26EMT
13:26Cryo
13:27Pretty cool to be fair
13:28Then we went to the gym side of the building
13:30Each one of these jackets
13:31It's a custom-made jacket
13:32It's only ever
13:33One's only ever produced each year
13:35For the athlete
13:35It's clean
13:36Everything is very clean
13:37Wow
13:37RT eats
13:38All the protein shakes
13:39Everything you need
13:40Pre-workouts
13:41Intra workouts
13:42Talking about shakes
13:43Hi guys what can I get you?
13:44I'd like to get what the biggest guy in this gym always gets
13:48Pre-workout
13:48Caffeine free
13:49You're actually my chef today
13:51I know
13:52Got one scoop of that
13:53Which is 50 grams
13:54I kind of feel bad for letting him make all my food
13:57And everything today
13:59Sour
14:00That's sour
14:00Right so intra
14:02I have never had straight up 100 grams of carbs
14:04You are today my man
14:06Pre-workout
14:08Done
14:08And then he gave me intra-workout
14:10As the name suggests
14:10This is for during your workout
14:12So that has EAAs in it
14:14EAAs
14:15Creatine
14:16And multidextrin
14:17I'm struggling to get this away
14:18Not because it's
14:20That's for intra-workout
14:21That's what we're supposed to be sipping
14:23Oh for real
14:23That's what I said
14:24The intra-workout
14:25That's probably why he's struggling
14:26I'm so full
14:28I think you should have a decent pump though
14:30With that amount of carbs in you
14:31So while we waited for the pre-workout to kick in
14:33Ryan wanted to show us something really epic
14:35We've got the recovery suite
14:36We've got the ice bath
14:36Which goes down to one degrees
14:38One degrees
14:39That's the new one
14:40I'm excited for this room
14:41We're going to be doing this as well
14:42We've got to train first
14:43Then it's our time
14:44Okay so we've got to deserve the recovery
14:46Makes sense
14:47Exercise number one
14:49Is how we're going to warm up
14:50Hyper extensions
14:52Super set with deadlift
14:54Good exercise to warm up with
14:55I'm going to be doing a lot of exercise today
14:57That I normally don't do
14:58Because I just can't do them in my own gym
15:00Don't over extend
15:01So you bring your glutes and your hamstring into it
15:02So we squeeze here all the way up
15:05Hold a bit higher
15:10Keep that lower back straight
15:12Nice
15:14That's it
15:14Good
15:15Lower back right
15:16Right away
15:19So as you might have noticed
15:21Today is back day
15:22Pronated support t-bar row
15:24Like a quadruple drop
15:25And then he said we were going to do something called
15:27A quadruple drop
15:28You trust me?
15:28I trust you
15:29I trust you
15:30Let's do it
15:30Okay
15:32Yep
15:38Yep
15:40Come on
15:41Oh my
15:45That was a good spot in that
15:46Yes
15:47But now you're next
15:48Drive up
15:49Perfect
15:51That's it
15:52Keep moving
15:52Good man
15:57Nice
15:57Got another one in that
15:58Another one in there
15:59That went up
16:00He's strong
16:01There we go
16:02Good
16:02Last one
16:03Drive up
16:04Come on
16:04Good man
16:06Can you also be strong as a bodybuilder?
16:08Yes
16:08Ronnie Coleman for instance
16:10He was ridiculously strong
16:11I think you're quite strong as well
16:13For us it's how the body looks
16:15Bodybuilders can be strong
16:17And he is too humble to say yes
16:19I'm quite strong
16:20Because I need to follow his weight today
16:23Come on
16:25Put the weights back on
16:26My turn again
16:27Alright let's go
16:29I train hard
16:29But I don't do quadruple drop sets
16:33People say that the leg muscles in his division are small
16:36So
16:36All bodybuilders don't train legs right?
16:40Because we used to wear big baggy shorts
16:41It opened the market for people who don't train legs
16:43Which gave the bad reputation of men's physique that they don't train legs
16:47So that became the funny thing of the industry
16:49Big legs is also required now
16:52It's crazy
16:53And I mean look at these legs
16:56That is new
16:57That is a new movement
16:58It's a different movement
17:00Easy
17:00Easy
17:02Drive
17:03Good
17:04And again
17:04Straight in
17:05Let's go
17:07Great work
17:07Back is feeling it
17:09Forearms are feeling it
17:10You've got to do it
17:10Last one
17:11You've got to do it
17:12Good man
17:14I haven't trained like this in
17:15I think ever
17:16So I typically train seven days a week
17:18But it's not because I have to
17:20Because I want to
17:20This is my release from the real world
17:22So what does the split of the number one bodybuilder look like?
17:25The best one for me
17:26Is a bro split all day long
17:28I like to go as hard as I can on one muscle group
17:31And then I want three or four days split to repair
17:33Whereas on a push-pull split you've only got like two three days
17:3548 hours, 72 hours
17:37Yeah
17:37And I just never felt the benefits
17:38Because I was constantly catching up
17:40I'm a basic bitch
17:41For a beginner watching right now
17:43What would you recommend?
17:44I think for a beginner even up and lower
17:46And just get a feel for the machine
17:47Get a feel for what works each muscle part
17:49Get to know your own body
17:51Let's go
17:54In his own gym
17:55I was trying to follow his weight the entire time
17:58Fucking hell man
17:58Fucking interesting
17:59I've got grips if you want them
18:00But it was starting to get really hard
18:02I want 10 reps now
18:02Because you've had a rest
18:03Let's go
18:04Drive
18:05Good
18:06And again last one then
18:07All the way back
18:08Good lad
18:09Do you always train to failure?
18:12Yes
18:13Would that also be a recommendation to people starting out?
18:15I think when you're first starting out
18:16It's getting a feel for it
18:18Getting more experience on the gym floor
18:20All you
18:20All you
18:21Good man
18:21I also tried machines I've never tried before
18:24This is an interesting machine
18:26Oh damn
18:28Really tuck it in
18:29All right let's go
18:30There yeah
18:33Almost killed me
18:34When and how did you get into bodybuilding exactly?
18:37Why did you start?
18:38I was quite a chunky kid
18:39Same
18:40Yeah
18:40So when I was 14
18:41Girls that sort of thing came on the scene
18:43And for me I just lost all confidence
18:44My mum's boyfriend at the time
18:46He knew I was going through a few things
18:47And he said look
18:48Start training your body
18:50Start sculpting and mentally you'll feel better for it
18:52Drive
18:52Yes
18:53Get angry with it
18:54Come on Stan
18:55The age of 16 I was working full time
18:57I had three jobs at 16
18:58So I trained and trained
18:59But I was missing that competitive side
19:00I need something to be able to work towards
19:03And that's when I stepped on stage for the first time
19:05Helped me with my mental health
19:06Helped me with my body consciousness
19:08And it gave me that competitive side
19:10As well as helping with my mental side
19:12Last set then and we're done
19:13That's one
19:14Come on
19:15Try
19:16Good lad
19:16We're not finished yet
19:17We gotta re-rect the weights
19:20Now we're done
19:21Now we're done
19:21Except we've got some posing
19:23Let's go for some posing
19:25Teach me posing
19:27Let's do this
19:27We're in the posing room
19:28People like neglect this side of bodybuilding
19:30And that's what happened to me in my first ever show
19:32I trained the hardest I've ever trained
19:34I looked the best I've ever looked
19:35I died down
19:36But I didn't practice my poses
19:38The guy next to me
19:38He was the world number one at the time
19:40He was hitting all his poses confidently
19:42I was looking
19:43How's he doing that
19:44So I was like giving him the win
19:45Over train it
19:46Over practice
19:47So then on stage
19:48Everything's second nature to you
19:50When you step on stage
19:50All the lights
19:51All the cameras
19:52It's crazy
19:53But as soon as you hit that first pose
19:54You're like
19:55I've done this for eight weeks
19:56I know exactly what I'm doing
19:57Is it more important than having the body?
19:59No, no
20:00You need the body to be able to pose it
20:01It's a performance
20:02You can choose your own performance as well
20:04There are mandatory poses
20:05It's mandatory poses to hit
20:07Then he showed me his posing routine
20:08That's your opening shot
20:09Yeah
20:10So basically
20:10The shoulders
20:11What the fuck
20:11So it's
20:12Yeah
20:12So that's what it's meant to do
20:13So have you ever done a lat spread before?
20:15I suck at it
20:16Pull forward
20:16And as you pull forward
20:17Elbows go forward
20:18Now open your lat
20:19Watch
20:19And then
20:20Open up
20:21Yeah
20:21However you do it
20:22Yeah
20:22You open there
20:23Perfect
20:23So from there
20:27And then open up
20:28I'd like to have those shoulders
20:30Tense everything you've got
20:31That's it
20:32Perfect
20:32There
20:32Yeah
20:33And then from there
20:34Watch my feet
20:35Spin
20:37Perfect
20:37That should be rock hard now
20:39And then
20:40You have to go around again
20:41Around again
20:41Around again
20:42So many times
20:43Just trying to hold it for as long as we can
20:45He's holding it easy
20:46Talking about laughing away the pain
20:47You're smiling on stage the entire time
20:49Yeah
20:49Yeah
20:49You've got to smile
20:50That's part of it
20:50Yeah
20:51There was a real emphasis on smiling
20:53I have to take all the beard off as well
20:55Because you're that boy next door kind of love
20:56How important is handsome?
20:58Yeah
20:58It's supposed to be a big factor
21:00I think they've gone away from that now
21:03Because you wanted it
21:03Yeah
21:04Because I wanted it
21:04And then we twist
21:06So then you lean back
21:07Show it off
21:09Like that
21:09It's like looking at your hand as you go across
21:12So you tend to keep your midsection as tight as possible
21:15All the way around
21:16And then you're back to your winning shot
21:17So you always want to start on your best shot
21:21And finish on your best shot
21:22Talking about that
21:23I mean look at this physique
21:24Yeah
21:24I wouldn't be able to really point anything out
21:26But you probably might
21:28But what is your worst body part?
21:30Uh arms
21:31Tri-set
21:32I've just never had that connection
21:33No matter how much I isolate
21:35No matter how much I take the weight away
21:37My shoulders are so overpowering
21:39I don't know why chest just always overpowers my tricep
21:41If I were to get better at bodybuilding
21:44What body part would be my worst?
21:45Your shoulders need to come up more
21:47Yeah
21:47It's not your worst
21:48You're just chest heavy
21:49So you've got a strong chest
21:50Will be the best body part
21:51I'd say chest
21:53And midsection though
21:54You've got a very good midsection
21:55Those crazy legs bro
21:56It's just a good tan
21:57Talking about the tan
21:58A lot of people might feel like
22:00It's just a bunch of yellow dudes on the stage
22:03Like why are they yellow?
22:04What is happening?
22:04When you're on stage
22:05The stage lights are so harsh
22:07It'll take away every bit of definition you've got
22:09That's why I'm so white today
22:10These lights
22:11Definitely not my skin color
22:12Or the lack of outside light that I see
22:14To everyone else when you're walking around
22:15You look like an Oompa Loompa
22:16On stage you actually look fairly normal
22:19I don't know if you guys ever seen like a show
22:21There's a lot of hitting each other
22:23And a lot of fighting
22:24You think there's a lot of male testosterone on that stage
22:26Every competitor up there has been through the grind
22:28They've been every day in the trenches on their own
22:30Most people don't see day to day what bodybuilders have to go through
22:33That's the entire idea of what I'm trying to show with this short documentary
22:37It's like so much work goes into this
22:39This is what you do
22:40But you've been doing this for 21 years
22:42I think if I just get these shows up a little bit
22:44I hope it will be a good competition for you next year
22:47Let's do it
22:47Coach workout shake
22:50Bartender Terry is back
22:51What can I get you sir?
22:52I think I'm getting more carbs
22:53Yeah we are
22:54Is that whey protein?
22:55Impact whey from my protein
22:56Code?
22:57I know I was going to let you use your code
22:59Because this is your video
23:00Code brownie
23:01There you go sir
23:01Bottoms up
23:02That's good
23:03Wow
23:04So there's 100 grams of carbs in here
23:05Two scoops of whey protein
23:06500 calorie shake
23:07I'll make you guys one
23:08Yo that is going to be nice
23:10Cheers
23:12That's really good
23:13That's really good
23:14Probably the fastest 500 calories I've ever
23:17Downed
23:17And the calories kept on coming
23:19All right time for meal three
23:20Chicken rice and broccoli
23:21This guy burns a lot of calories
23:23He definitely needs to eat a lot of food
23:24But I'm not super hungry
23:25Ryan is eating his meal while managing the gym
23:28Busy lifestyle
23:30All right the recovery room
23:31Hello
23:32Typically you would hide this room out for yourself
23:34You'd come in and you'd go straight onto the Normatex sleeve
23:37So we'll do that first
23:38And then we go into contrast therapist
23:40We've got the ice bath at one degrees
23:41We did have a lot of members complaining that it was too cold
23:44One
23:44Yeah that they're paying for the hour
23:45Too cold?
23:46Yeah but they're paying for the hour
23:47And then they're only in it 20 seconds
23:49All the way in
23:50Yeah that's it
23:50And then zip up
23:52And essentially each compartment will fill up
23:55It's timing up
23:56It should get really tight
23:57Calves are filled up
23:58We're gonna go higher and higher
24:00It feels nice
24:00Especially after legs
24:02But you need to lean back
24:03That's where you should be
24:04Ah
24:05But can your chair do this?
24:07Whoa whoa
24:07My feet are tidying up even more now
24:09I might have to buy these myself
24:11How expensive are these?
24:12They're quite expensive
24:131600
24:141600 pounds
24:15So about what?
24:161700-1800 euros
24:17My facial expression was also because of the price
24:20And also because these things are getting tight
24:23Getting tight now
24:24I feel my legs
24:25Frobbing
24:26Yeah
24:27Whoa
24:29Yes
24:30Oh what?
24:32It was nice though
24:33It was nice
24:33It's time for the ice bath
24:34That a lot of people here say
24:36Is a little too cold
24:37My legs are fully relaxed
24:38Fully recovered

25:21That's pretty amazing.
25:25Put it like that, then they get to it.
25:31Oh, right away as well.
25:35How does that feel?
25:36Cold.
25:37Cold?
25:38You can tell I've not been in here for a while though.
25:40You'll still be quite relaxed though.
25:43Yeah, well I'm not.
25:57I used to be able to sit in there for two or three minutes quite comfortable.
26:01I barely made a minute then, that was seriously cold.
26:04Have I seen everything of bodybuilding today?
26:07Um, essentially yeah, this is what a typical day would look like.
26:11After this crazy day, I kind of feel like I deserve a cheap meal, so let's get that now.
26:14I want to thank you so much for showing me the world of bodybuilding in 24 hours.
26:19Did I become a better bodybuilder in 24 hours?
26:21You did indeed.
26:22We need a bit better posing, we need to work on that posing.
26:25It takes time.
26:26You don't become a pro bodybuilder in 24 hours.
26:29And 12 weeks later, this routine.
26:31Men's physique Olympia champion.
26:35Ryan Terry.
26:38Ryan Terry is still the champion.
26:41I will not let you go through all the pain of seeing me eat the cheap meal, but it's the end of
26:47the day.
26:48We got to have the famous bodybuilder cheap meal.
26:50Let's go.
26:52We've got the burger, we've got the sweet potato fries, and we've got the double chocolate
26:56oreo milkshake.
26:57I know you won't look like Ryan Terry in a day, but you can look better instantly if you check out
27:02the biggest Gymshark sale ever.
27:04Gymshark's famous Black Friday sale will go live on the 21st of November.
27:08Up to 70% off, and if you use codes 1010, this will give you another 10% off on top of this.
27:13I know, they're crazy.
27:14Set a timer, go pick your favorite items, and get them before they sell out.
27:18Ryan is also a Gymshark athlete, so he has a pretty good taste.
27:21We will find out right now because less taste is 2,000 calorie, very good cheap meal.
27:26Here we go.
27:27Whoa, that is tasty.
27:32Let's touch tips.
27:35Ryan's got good taste.
27:36Definitely.
27:37See you guys in the next episode.
