Speaking to reporters in the Oval Office, President Trump was asked about the Nord Stream 2 pipeline explosion.

00:03First, I just want to thank you for letting us in here.

00:05I'm with Zero Hedge and the last administration banned us

00:07on social media, so we're really grateful to be in the

00:09White House.

00:10And this is not exactly sports related, but I've been dying

00:13to ask you this question for a long time, which is that two

00:15and a half years ago, the Nord Stream pipeline blew up.

00:19And despite what people like John Brennan and all the

00:22Hawks said, you were one person who said Russia

00:25probably did not blow up its own pipeline.

00:27The President.

00:28They said Russia blew it up.

00:29Yeah.

00:30And so I'm wondering now that you're president, if you would

00:32consider launching a formal investigation into what

00:34happened there and who actually did blow it up?

00:37Well, probably if I asked certain people, I'd be able to tell

00:40you without having to waste a lot of money on an investigation.

00:43But I think a lot of people know who blew it up.

00:47But I was the one that blew it up originally because I wouldn't

00:50let it be built.

00:51And then when Biden got in, he allowed it to be built.

00:53And it's very interesting.

00:56But I think Russia, with the price of oil right now, oil's

01:00gone down.

01:01I think we're in a good position to settle.

01:03They want to settle.

01:05Ukraine wants to settle.

01:07If I weren't president, nobody would be settling.

01:09They're losing 5,000 people a day.

01:11Think of it.

01:12Here we talk about football.

01:13They're losing 5,000 people on average a week.

01:16Mostly Russian soldiers and Ukrainian soldiers.

01:205,000 a week.

01:22Not including people that are, you know, killed as missiles go

01:26into areas that they shouldn't be.

01:28It's a very terrible thing.

01:30And I think we're, we've come a long way.

01:32And it could be something will happen.

01:34But hopefully it will.

01:35As you know, President Putin just announced a three-day cease-fire.

01:39Which doesn't sound like much, but it's a, it's a lot if you knew where we started from.

01:44Because they were not, we had a president that for three years didn't speak to Putin.

01:49And it all shouldn't have happened.

01:53This is a war that should have never happened.

01:55And you're going to be very disappointed when you find out the real number of people that were killed.

02:00It's far greater.

02:02Many times greater, I believe.

02:04But far greater than the numbers that you're putting out.

02:08It's a very, very deadly, horrible war.
