00:13and the first order of business is boots on the ground and get to work.
00:19We have a lot of work to do.
00:23First up, firearms for the people.
00:26My attorney general has been given instructions as well.
00:30To work with our cabinet to put in place as fast as we can stand your ground laws.
00:42Home invasion laws.
00:47And the regulations that we would need to grant firearms to law-abiding citizens of Trinidad and Tobago.
00:56The UNC government also intends to review a number of pieces of legislation,
01:02including one act established under the previous PNM government,
01:06which was touted to crack down on corruption and boost the government's coffers.
01:11We have to reform a lot of our pieces of legislation,
01:17but let areas of priority be won to repeal the Trinidad and Tobago Revenue Authority Act.
01:25Tobago is not to be left out.
01:28We will work with the THA because the law for 10 years has stalled, and maybe even more.
01:35So we'll be looking at a model together that we can truly reflect what we sing in our anthem.
01:43Side by side we stand, Trinidad and Tobago.
01:46And with the dragon failing to dance, Prime Minister Kamala Pesad-Besessa says
01:51plans are already afoot to seek new energy opportunities within the region.

02:18Suriname is also energy producing.
02:21Again, we can partner with them, but I have a surprise for you.
02:23I intend to send my Minister of Energy to Grenada
02:27because I'm being told that Grenada offshore has more gas and oil than the dragon field.
02:35But before the government delivers on its other promises,
02:39they'll be needing the latest account balance.
02:42We need to find out what is the state of the Treasury before we can run off.
02:48We have to find money, we have to make money, and just together work hard.
