Give your classic chicken tawa fry a luxurious twist with this creamy, spicy, and ultra-satisfying dish. Perfect for dinner parties or weekend treats, this tawa-style chicken is seared to perfection and coated in a rich, flavorful cream-based masala😊
🔷Here's a simple recipe for you:- ☛FIRST MARINATION * Take 4 Chicken Leg Quarters - 1 kg & make some slits on it. * Add ½ tsp salt. * 2 tbsp Lemon juice. * Rub it well over the chicken pieces. * Lest it rest for 30 minutes.
☛SECOND MARINATION:- * Take 200 grams of Yogurt in a bowl. * Add Fresh Cream - 100 grams. * ½ tsp Black pepper powder. * 1 tbsp Coriander powder. * 1 tsp Kashmiri red chilli powder. * 1 tsp Red chilli flakes. * 1 tsp Cumin powder. * ½ tsp Garam masala. * 1 tbsp Ginger Garlic paste. * 1 tbsp dried fenugreek leaves. * 1 tsp salt. * Mix well. * Our Marinade is ready.
⬗Method:- * Heat 2 tbsp oil in a tawa. * Place the marinated chicken into the hot oil & fry on high flame for 2 minutes. * Flip & fry on high flame for another 2 minutes. * Pour the prepared marinade. * Close the lid & let it cook on low flame for 20-25 minutes. * Open the lid after 20-25 minutes & flip the chicken leg quarters. * Pour the prepared marinade. * Close the lid & let it cook on low flame for 4-5 minutes. * Open the lid after 4-5 minutes & flip the chicken leg quarters (NOTE:- Keep the gas on low flame) * Make some space in the centre of the tawa & place aluminium foil in the centre of the tawa. * Place a burning charcoal in an aluminium foil & pour 1 tsp ghee on it & close the lid immediately for 2-3 minutes (NOTE:- Keep the gas on low flame) * Open the lid after 2-3 minutes & takeout the charcoal along with the aluminium foil. * Add green chillies (Roughly chopped) & some lemon slices. * Flip & mix well (NOTE:- Keep the gas on low flame) * Flip once again & mix well. * Garnish with some freshly chopped coriander leaves.
