00:00We've been talking between the UK and India for quite some time about the way that we think we
00:06can collaborate much more closely together to make sure that people both in the UK and in India
00:12can benefit from and have access to many of the cultural artefacts that stem back to the time
00:19very different era. That's something that I've discussed with my counterpart and we're keen
00:24to have those closer collaborations whether it's tours of objects across India and the United Kingdom
00:30or the work that we're doing on digitising manuscripts in the British Library that mean a lot to the
00:37Indian people. I'm aware that there is a huge strength of feeling about this in India and there
00:42is strong feelings about it in the United Kingdom as well and we're really determined to find a way
00:48to work very closely together so that people in both the UK and India can benefit from those important
00:53objects.
