I went to the Liverpool restaurant from BBC This City is Ours.

00:00Ever since watching This City Is Ours, my mum has gone on about going to Gaucho.

00:06The stunning restaurant on Water Street was a prominent filming location in the hit BBC series, featuring as the place where Diana worked.

00:14We visited at 5pm on Friday for an early tea, and the venue was honestly just as beautiful as we had imagined,

00:20with high ceilings, a stunning bar, lovely booths, and plenty of cosy tables.

00:25They have more than 100 wines available, and tons of cocktails and mocktails,

00:31and we went for a rosé and a rhubarb mocktail, which were gorgeous as expected.

00:36Now Gaucho is obviously a steakhouse, so you might be wondering, why on earth did you go and not get steak?

00:42But as I'm vegan, and my mum isn't really a big meat eater, we went for the roasted celeriac, tostadas, salad and chips,

00:48and honestly, those truffle mushrooms on the celeriac were unbelievable.

00:52The veggie and vegan options are amazing, and you can even get this unreal vegan brownie with white chocolate ice cream,

00:59which was the highlight of the meal for me.

01:01The service is brilliant, and the whole venue is stunning, with a gorgeous private dining area,

01:06and even the toilets are Instagram worthy.

01:09While it definitely isn't cheap, it's well worth a visit, and is the perfect place for a special occasion,

01:14or pretending you're a BBC star.
