00:00What's your take on the very kind of disappointing start to the season for

00:05Casas?

00:06And do you think there's a corner to turn?

00:10He's not been good.

00:11He's stunk.

00:13It's a lot like 2023, right?

00:15And I do think that they talk about some things mechanically,

00:18gotten into some bad habits.

00:20I think he is one of those guys, too, that kind of falls into, hey,

00:24I'm going to go to my guy in the offseason,

00:27and we're going to work on some different things,

00:28and I'm going to bring it into the season.

00:30Trust me.

00:31This is going to work.

00:33All through camp.

00:34And it's sort of like, okay, when do we step in and say,

00:36oh, you're hitting a buck?

00:38You know what I mean?

00:38Like, we've trusted you for a while,

00:40so now let's start doing what we want you to do.

00:42So I don't know.

00:43I think there was some of that with 2023

00:44and a little bit of it this year as well.

00:47So I think he's looked better, I guess, recently.

00:50So hopefully he can kind of continue because they need him.

00:52They need that guy in the middle of the order.

00:53I mean, with the potential he has, they need him to start swinging.

00:56You can't have three dingers and hit a buck 85 first.

00:59Like, it's kind of drag.

01:01It's one of the elements that is dragging the offense,

01:03an offense that we have seen that when it breaks out or gets hot,

01:06it's dynamic.

01:07The guy who's supposed to hit 40 and 120.

01:09Yeah, or at least give me 30, like, out of bed.

01:11Like, he's – and Devers was the other one.

01:14You know, it was like, you're not going to have a great offense

01:16if Devers hit in second and Costas hit in fourth,

01:18like, aren't doing anything and striking out every time.

01:20Right.

01:20So Devers has been better because for some reason they keep throwing

01:24a lot of off-speed.

01:26I still want to see him hit velocity.

01:27Yeah.

01:27And Costas has looked a little bit better, too.

01:30I'm just waiting for him to take off.
