Ben Affleck has done a lot of cool things over his 52 years walking the planet ... but says the opportunity to run routes for Tom Brady was one of the greatest days of his life!!

00:00Speaking of hyperbole, Ben Affleck talking about the greatest day of his life or one of the greatest days of his life.

00:07He, of course, acknowledges the birth of his children.

00:09Every parent does that, but not as as early as marriage.

00:13But after that, the greatest day has to do with his now good friend, Tom Brady.

00:20And I would imagine this was before they became good friends.

00:24This is pretty awesome.

00:27The fact that he's talking to the Kelsey brothers might have influenced why he chose this story as the greatest day.

00:36What kind of routes are you running?

00:37I won't lie to you.

00:38I don't know if they have a name.

00:42I'm sure I disgraced every receiver that's ever run a route.

00:46To this day, aside from the birth of my children, that was the greatest day.

00:54It was amazing.

00:55I felt like a 10-year-old kid.

00:58He's like, okay, come here.

01:00And I get to him, and he's like, it's the Super Bowl.

01:03Fourth quarter.

01:04We have 23 seconds.

01:06It's fourth and 18.

01:07I was like, I'm going to start talking to him.

01:12He's like, you just run?

01:13I'm like wondering, when's this ball going to show up?

01:15And I look.

01:16I just feel like right out in front of me, and it was a little far for me.

01:20I think he was like, he probably adjusted back.

01:22And I reach out, and I have to go on to extend a catch.

01:30I mean, I want to hear Tom Brady's account of this catch, because he makes it seem like

01:38it was an amazing catch.

01:39But just to give a little context, so they were basically, they were both on vacation at

01:44the same spot, and a classic Tom Brady.

01:46He basically wanted to get working on the football field and knew Ben was there, so he called him

01:50and had him just come run routes for him, because he had no one else to catch for him.

01:55That's weird, that nobody else was there for, I mean, wow.

01:59Well, maybe there weren't any professional football players around, so he just took Ben
