00:05But I've seen one or two fans say, you know, it can't just go on forever, this,

00:12you know, relatively speaking.

00:13And I do agree.

00:14I think as far as May goes and May starts in a couple of days,

00:19I don't think there's an immediate rush.

00:21But I wouldn't want it, I wouldn't personally, the way I'm looking at it,

00:26and if I'm Bilko, I wouldn't want it running too far towards the end of May, really.

00:31I mean, I think the top flight season doesn't finish till, what is it, 25th of May,

00:37something like that.

00:38The top European leagues don't finish.

00:40I'd imagine I haven't looked at a similar time.

00:43Maybe lower foreign leagues finish slightly earlier.

00:49But ultimately, it's not impossible, but it's difficult.

00:54The way I've had it explained to me, it's, as you say, with transfer targets,

00:58you can line things up, you can start talks, negotiations.

01:02It's quite tricky to get players in when you don't have a manager or a head coach in place.

01:08And that's up in the air.

01:09You know, at all levels, I would say, relative to all levels.

01:13Players, yes, you know, salaries, wage lengths, all of that counts.

01:18And players will have obviously heard of West Bromwich Albion

01:20and their background as a Premier League club.

01:22But ultimately, you know, the name of the head coach or manager is a big deal

01:27and often a deal breaker.

01:31The players often have multiple options, don't they?

01:34So if you were wanting to make a decision as a player in mid to late May

01:37and you've got, you know, a club with a manager and a vision in place,

01:41you can speak to a player and Albion with no one at the helm,

01:44then I'm just giving that as an example as why I think it's not the wisest thing

01:49that it runs into June and into June, you know, and I don't think it will.
