00:03Brilliant. So tell me why you wanted to open up Teds.

00:06So I started cooking pizza about five years ago and started the business in lockdown in Dorset.

00:14Since I've moved back to Portsmouth, where I'm from, did pop-ups around the city,

00:20then came into the cellars last year.

00:23So I've been with them for about a year and now I've taken over the whole place.

00:27So it's just enjoying cooking and pizza-ing and bringing good pizza to the city.

00:35So tell me what the reaction's been like.

00:37It's been good. It's been positive so far.

00:40It's good to have the place to look after everything, including the beers,

00:44and get some really good beers on, which I'm quite into as well.

00:47So yeah, it's good to see some old faces come in and it's good to take the whole place on.

00:53And has the menu changed?

00:55The menu's changed. I changed the menu last week.

00:58So it's similar, but I've kind of made them prettier and more luxury, basically.

01:04So yeah, still classics on there, but there's some real good ones on there.

01:08Tell me what the sort of favourite things are on the menu.

01:11The favourite in here is always the diavola, which is obviously the spicy meat one.

01:15So it's and do your, I've just, I've done that a little bit.

01:19So that's, yeah, and do your pepperoni, chilies, whipped ricotta, hot honey.

01:23Yeah, so it's a nice spicy with the smooth cheese.

01:27And yeah, it's all, it tends to be a favourite with the beer drinkers, the spicy ones.

01:32Brilliant. And just going back to the beers, tell me what sort of beers you have on.

01:36So it's all like craft beer, so small batch of craft beer from across the UK.

01:40So it's all kind of New England, the hazy IPAs.

01:44And we have some lagers on, the ciders and some spirits.

01:47But yeah, the beers are all from like really good well-known breweries around the country.

01:52Is there some local ones from Portsmouth?

01:53We will get some local ones in eventually.

01:55Yeah, we just, yeah, just need to get in touch with them.
