00:11Kuala Muda OCPD Assistant Commissioner Wan Azharuddin Wan Ismail said the incident occurred
00:17around 9.30am, when the victim was dining with several other customers.
00:22She was hit by an MPV driven by a 68-year-old woman who had lost control of the vehicle.
00:28The victim died at the scene due to severe bodily injuries.
00:32The restaurant owner, a woman also, in her 50s, along with four other customers, sustained
00:38injuries.
00:39Preliminary investigations revealed that the driver had supposedly suffered a minor stroke
00:44and pressed the accelerator pedal, causing her car to go out of control and crash into
00:50the shop.
00:51ACP-1 Azharuddin said the case is being investigated under Section 41, Subsection 1 of the Road
00:58Transport Act 1987.
