The remains of a married couple killed in a collision involving an express bus and a car along Jalan Kuala Krai-Gua Musang in Kelantan on Friday (May 30) were laid to rest Sunday at the Kassim Noor Muslim cemetery in Kampung Sungai Danga in Johor Baru, Johor.

00:35Nur Atika Najihah's mother, 39-year-old Nurul Ain Abdul Rahim, who also perished in the crash,
00:42was laid to rest at the Kampung Jambu Merah Muslim Cemetery in Kota Bahru at approximately 2.30 p.m.
00:50on Saturday. The fatal accident occurred at 11.20 a.m. in Kampung Sungai Sum when the couple's
00:56hatchback collided with an express bus. The victims were travelling from Johor Bahru to attend the
01:02wedding solemnisation of Nurul Ain's younger brother in Bersut, Terengganu. Mohammad Faris's father,
01:09Kamaluddin Abdullah, said the family was heartbroken over the loss of their third child
01:14but had come to terms with his passing. Meanwhile, Nur Atika Najihah's father,
01:20Mohammed Shah Penilzain Mohammed Said, said his family had also accepted her death,
01:26describing her as a loving and kind-hearted person.
