00:00Do you speak any other languages, or are you just like me?
00:02Florida mumble. That's about all I got.
00:04Wait, okay, question.
00:05Because we've been taking social media videos
00:07of people pronouncing different things from across the country.
00:10Florida mumble.
00:11What's a word or a saying that nobody else would know if you said it?
00:17The thing with Florida is it's like a melting pot of everybody.
00:22I'm one of the few people that are born and raised there.
00:26Mainly the mumble is as you get to talking,
00:28and you just kind of stop moving your lips
00:30and really start sounding like Boomhauer a little bit from King of the Hill.
00:32And then only your family.
00:34What are we doing out here?
00:34Yeah, I'm a couple beers in the alleyway.
00:36You're having a good time, okay?
00:38So normally that comes out when I'm down there,
00:41and so if I bring any guests with me, they're like,
00:44what did you just say?
00:45Excuse me?
00:45Yeah.
00:46Now does it start to definitely fade out when the whiskey comes in too,
00:50like more quickly, if there's whiskey or tequila or beer involved?
00:54Oh, does it come out faster?
00:55The mumble just happens immediately.
00:56Oh, by that point I might as well be speaking in Braille.
00:58Yeah, nobody understands what I'm saying.
01:00Well, we have a lot of friends in Tampa who, you know,
01:03at our station QIK who might say the same thing.
01:06They might say the Florida mumble, it's real.
01:08Yeah, they've interviewed me, so they've heard it, I'm sure.
01:10I'm sure.
