00:27Well, I did have one really good one at a fair in Cincinnati one time.

00:37Well, first and foremost, how are you?

00:40I'm good, man.

00:41This is a pretty exciting time.

00:43The new single with Luke Combs, it's been good.

00:46Yeah, well, new single with Luke Combs, which is on your new album that's out now,

00:52Ain't My Last Rodeo.

00:53And, of course, you just wrapped up dates with Luke Combs at stadiums.

00:57Was there any things that you had to adjust?

01:00I mean, you played Ray J here, but was there any things that you had to adjust

01:03to play these bigger crowds and these bigger venues when it came to your set?

01:06You really do.

01:07I mean, it's a different show.

01:09You know, it's, I mean, obviously it's the same fans and there's just more of them.

01:13But to really try to fill that stage up, it's, there's a little learning curve.

01:19It was, it was cool to get to kind of experience that the first time.

01:22I think we were at AT&T Stadium in Dallas.

01:25And, uh, it's, it's, it's awesome though, man.

01:28It's, um, it's a bunch of folks that are really happy to be out.

01:31And obviously Luke's doing so well, but, you know, we kind of have the same type fan and

01:36then they're, they're showing up and they're loud and they're, they're rowdy.

01:40Well, you know, that's a good point.

01:41Riley, how would you describe like your, your fans?

01:43Uh, is the word redneck the right way to describe it?

01:48No, no, not at all.

01:50But I like the fact you were on a show called Redneck Island.

01:52So he might as well, yeah, we could do that.

01:54You always got to throw that in my intro.

01:55That's your favorite thing to bring up.

01:57I love it.

01:58That or it's not easy being green.

01:59One of the two is always going to happen.

02:12Tell me how this kind of came about.

02:14Was this something that you guys kind of discovered you wanted to do while you were on tour together?

02:18What's the story behind this?

02:20I'd like to tell you some big story about how it went through the chain of command and then his management.

02:25But I just texted him and said, hey man, you want to be on this song?

02:27He's like, yeah.

02:29That works.

02:30That's the way to do it, man.

02:31Yeah, it's easy.

02:32You know, Riley, one of my favorite moments from the show when you were here with Luke Combs

02:36is when you came out on stage and you were singing Eric Church's part on the song Does

03:08Is there anything that you've learned from Luke when it comes to not being an artist,

03:12but playing at this level?

03:15Well, you know, even back when my first major tour that I got asked to be on was Brad Paisley

03:20and we've done Dierks and Luke Bryan, Jason Aldean.

03:25I mean, we've been on several big tours now and you can't help but learn something from

03:28any of these guys, especially those guys that have been doing it forever.

03:31It's just bringing that same amount of energy every night, you know, because we play the

03:36same show every night.

03:37We play, for the most part, it's the same set list and just remembering that there's

03:41somebody that'll be hearing you for the first time and bringing that same energy is something

03:46that I always try to be mindful of and Luke does a great job of that and it's just a

03:50great show.
