33 Year Army Veteran Recognized By Fiancé

00:10It is Military Monday and we have Crystal on the phone this morning.

00:13Good morning, Crystal. How are you?

00:15Good morning. How are you doing?

00:17We are doing great. I'm so glad you reached out.

00:19We get to honor your fiancé, Stephen.

00:21So first and foremost, when is the wedding? Do we have a date yet?

00:24Oh, we do. February 17th in Jamaica.

00:28Oh, wow. That's going to be awesome.

00:30Excited for you on that.

00:32Well, we are honoring Stephen for Military Monday.

00:34Tell us how he serves our country.

00:36Sure. He's a lieutenant colonel at SENTCOM in the Army.

00:40And how long has he served for?

00:42He is on his 33rd year.

00:44Wow. Now, is this something that he did right out of high school?

00:48He actually went into the reserves from college and then he went on the officer track.

00:55Okay, great. And it says he was deployed a few times as well?

00:59Yes. He's been deployed several times. His last four was in Iraq.

01:03Wow. We are so grateful for that.

01:05So what are some things he likes to do when he is not serving our country?

01:08What are some things you guys like to do together?

01:10For sure. Well, we have a pretty big family.

01:13We have six kids in total.

01:15My goodness.

01:15Four left. Yes. Four left in the house.

01:19We are avid voters.

01:21You see us out on the island quite frequently.

01:24And then he is a member of the Rough Rider crew as well in Tampa.

01:28Wow. That is fantastic.

01:30It sounds like a busy guy.

01:31It sounds like a busy household you guys have.

01:34For sure. You got that right.

01:36Well, listen, Crystal, we are so glad you reached out to us because we get to learn about heroes like your fiance, Stephen.

01:42We are super pumped for you and super pumped for next February when your wedding happens in Jamaica.
