We've got Sarah on the phone who is honoring her husband, Timothy, today.

I'm good. How are you doing?

So tell us about your husband so we can honor him today for Military Monday.

What branch did he serve in and a little bit about his service?

He was in the Army.

He served in OIS and OEF.

That's Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Wow. And how many years was he in the Army?

From 2002 to 2005.

Now, did he ever think about making this a career?

He did. He had to get out early because of a broken family plan.

He had to come home and take care of his daughter.

Gotcha. And what do you think drew him, I mean, besides the obvious, what do you think drew him to serve?

He was sitting in school when 9-11 happened.

He said that somebody needed to help, and that's what made him decide to go and join the Army.
