00:06Let's honor another First Responder on 99.5 QYK.

00:11It's First Responder Friday and we've got Dustin on the phone today who is honoring his cousin, Sean.

00:16Good morning, Dustin. How are you doing?

00:18Good. How are you guys?

00:19We are great, man. We're pumped that you reached out to us.

00:21So let's talk about Sean. How does he serve our community?

00:24So first he served our country. He was Marine Corps for six years.

00:30And now he's going on his third year as a Hillsborough County firefighter.

00:34Oh, wow.

00:35Nice.

00:35Now let me ask you this. Let's go back to his service as a Marine.

00:38He had a very special and important job in Washington, D.C., right?

00:43Yeah. So he actually started out in California when he was first joined.

00:48But then he got a job as a body bearer in D.C.

00:52So he worked out in the Arlington Cemetery.

00:55And he was, I guess what their motto is, is the last to lay you down.

00:59So he was in charge of giving our veterans who didn't make it back home a proper send-off.

01:06Wow.

01:06You know, I've actually seen that by just visiting Washington, D.C.

01:10And it's very emotional, very touching, and it's just so patriotic to see.

01:15So I think that's great that Sean was a part of that.

01:18Now, you are his cousin.

01:20So tell me, Dustin, what do you think makes him a great firefighter?

01:23What do you see in your cousin?

01:24Do you think, you know what, this guy just knows this job and this job was made for him?

01:29I think it's just his hard work and his dedication to anything that he does.

01:35I mean, it started, obviously, as a Marine, and now it's carried over.

01:39He's got three daughters that he takes great care of.

01:42So just, I think everything he does, he takes pride in it.

01:45And he puts a lot of hard work and dedication into it.

01:47So I think that's what makes him a great firefighter and a great dad.

01:51Well, listen, Dustin, we're so pumped that you reached out to us.

01:53And we want to do this for Sean.
