00:00Well, Blake has not a lot of energy when we just talked to him right now.
00:04He sounds like he's very defeated.
00:06He's bummed out.
00:07He hasn't heard back from Tammy.
00:09Right.
00:10He said he took her to J. Alexander's, which is a super nice place.
00:13So they kind of just talked about everything.
00:15You know, like on a first date, there's so much to talk about.
00:18But I asked him, is there anything crazy that happened?
00:20Anything obvious?
00:21And he said no.
00:22And he just wants to know why she's not calling him back because he really liked her.
00:27Yeah, I'm not totally sure that he would know if anything happened or not.
00:31Just by the way we talked to him, he just seemed a little aloof.
00:33But we'll see if we can find out.
00:34All right.
00:35All right.
00:36We got Tammy on hold right now.
00:37Kevin's got her standing by.
00:39Let's bring her on.
00:39Hey, Tammy.
00:40Yeah.
00:41Hi.
00:42Hey, Tammy.
00:42I know you talked to Kevin.
00:44You kind of know what's going on right here.
00:46We wanted to ask you about this, about Blake.
00:49Yeah.
00:49Okay.
00:50Okay.
00:51Look, I'm just not interested in going out with him again.
00:55Like, I don't know what kind of like radio stunt, like weird thing this is, but like,
00:59I'm just not, I'm not interested.
01:01I don't want to be part of any sort of like stunt joke thing and I'm just done and I'm
01:07just not going to.
01:08Okay.
01:08Totally fine.
01:09Would it be okay to ask you why you're not, you're not interested in him?
01:13Can we just ask that question?
01:15Like, he's just like a con man basically.
01:18Really?
01:19How so?
01:20Okay.
01:20Like, I get why, you know, like people need multiple jobs.
01:23Like, I totally understand that.
01:24Right.
01:25Um, but he's got this job where he's, he explains finance on a podcast.
01:30Oh, he's like a financial podcast.
01:32Yeah, I guess.
01:33But like, it's a finance podcast and he doesn't know anything about finance.
01:38He talked, he read some books or something.
01:40Like Dave Ramsey, like those types of things that we're talking about.
01:43I have no idea.
01:44All I know is that what he was saying just sounded like total BS and it was so bizarre.
01:48And I was like, I'm out.
01:49So it's like, he's claiming to know all this stuff about money and really doesn't know anything
01:54about money.
01:55Doesn't know nothing.
01:56I mean, I, I, I barely know anything and I knew that the stuff he was saying was wrong.
02:00Well, here's the deal.
02:01Um, Tammy, uh, we actually have Blake on the phone with us.
02:04I got to ask him what you just said.
02:05I mean, that's a very interesting comment right there.
02:07Uh, Blake.
02:09Yeah.
02:09Hi.
02:09Uh, first of all, so do you work in finance?
02:12Uh, I, I don't work in finance.
02:14I actually have a podcast about finance.
02:18We got that part, but what do you do for work?
02:20Uh, I'm a trainer.
02:21Okay.
02:22A trainer.
02:23Do you, do you go to school for like accounting or something like that?
02:26Do you have like a co-host who's a finance person or?
02:29No, I mean, I, I, you know, I watch all the shows about finances.
02:32You know, it's not like I'm not getting my info from, from good sources.
02:36You know, I've, a lot of my clients are in finance.
02:39Um, you know, I talk, I talk to them about it.
02:41You know, I feel like I get a lot of really good information.
02:44Okay.
02:44If you're giving people advice and you're telling people what to do, like people can lose money
02:49because of stuff you say.
02:51What are you talking about?
02:51Especially now, like this economy and you're telling, like you're telling people what to
02:56do.
02:56It's so weird.
02:57I just.
02:57Do you do these tips with your own like personal finances?
03:01I mean, not all of them.
03:03Do you see kind of how that's a conflict of interest a little bit there?
03:07You're just like passing someone else's ideas on as your own.
03:10No, I mean, people, you know, I, I put a lot of ideas out there and people can decide
03:15for themselves, you know, which ones are beneficial and which ones aren't.
03:18Do you do this podcast just for fun or do you, are you getting paid to do this?
03:22I mean, I'm just trying to figure out if, if, if someone was trying to sponsor your podcast,
03:26if they listened to it for a second, if they were like a financial.
03:29Uh, yeah, I mean, I am, I'm making a little money on it.
03:34So it's good, you know, for, for the extra money.
03:36And, uh, you know, I've had sponsors like reach, reach out to me and stuff.
03:40So, wow.
03:41Yeah.
03:42Well, Tammy, uh, you made it very clear at the beginning that you did not want to go
03:45back out with him.
03:47I don't even, yeah, I don't know what to believe anything that comes out of the job.
03:50And honestly, like this just made it weird.
03:52I'm just like, look what, I can't, I can't.
03:54Wait, all right, well, listen guys, uh, I think it's very interesting that you're doing
04:00this and, um, but I would, you know, caution you to be careful, you know, giving out all
04:05this advice.
04:05But then again, a lot of people give out a lot of advice all the time.
04:08Um, do the people on your podcast know you're a trainer at a gym?
04:13Uh, I mean, I don't really talk about my personal life, but you do give out personal financial
04:20advice.
04:20All right, well, listen, here's the deal.
04:22Uh, we got some answers for you, Blake and Tammy.
04:24Thank you for your time.
04:25I wish you both luck.
04:26Okay.
04:27Yeah.
04:27Hey, can I plug my podcast real quick?
04:29No, no, no.
04:29Actually, no, uh, we don't do that, but Hey man, appreciate you coming on.
04:35You have a great day.
04:35Okay.
04:36Okay.
04:37All right.
04:37See ya.
04:37Thanks Tammy.
04:39Yeah.
04:39All right, guys.
04:40See ya.
04:40Yeah.
04:40I don't, well, listen, here's the deal.
04:42It'd be one thing if he said, I'm just telling him what I would do in this circumstance.
04:46I'm just telling them what, you know, in my personal life, what's worked for me.
04:50That would be one thing.
04:50And then you preface it that way, but for him to say, well, no, I don't really use all
04:55this advice.
04:55I just kind of give it out.
04:56That's where it becomes a little bit sketchy.
04:58And that's where you, if you're looking at somebody on a first date, like Tammy is, she's
05:01looking at this guy going, okay, so you're dishonest with people or you're just like throwing
05:05things out there with the risk of people thinking that you know it all.
05:08I mean, you don't, you're not prefacing it by saying, Hey, I'm not a professional.
05:11You're not prefacing, prefacing saying this is stuff that I've read in books.
05:15That's, that's where it becomes a little bit sketchy for me.
05:18And I would kind of be like, dude, what are you doing?
05:20Yeah.
05:21But that's, that's like me watching a, a car show on, on television and be, and then starting
05:28a podcast saying, Hey guys, I'm going to tell you how to rev up your engine or change
05:33your spark plugs or whatever.
05:34I don't know anything about that, but I can't get on a podcast and just tell people what to
05:39do, but I guess you can.
05:41Yeah.
05:41Well, there's nobody fact checking that, but that's where it gets a little sketchy.
05:44Is anybody fact checking these people that are doing all the podcasts?
05:47Yeah.
05:47Well, as soon as you said, you know, I would teach you how to rev up your engine.
05:50I think people would know this might not be the podcast for me.
05:53What are you saying?
05:53I mean, yeah.
