00:43it out knuckle cracking arthritis I crack my knuckles so bad and I don't know I mean it does
00:50that lead to it anyways um you asked me when I I started uh realizing that my mom lied to me and
00:58my dad lied to me about um about telling uh me that they would go to jail or get a ticket
01:04if you left if you put the light on in the car when you're driving at night well because that was
01:09the one thing my my dad everybody everybody hates you put on the dome light the dome light on at
01:14nighttime turn off the light I'm gonna get a ticket I'm gonna get a ticket and you asked me when did
01:19I realized that that was a lie you're not gonna get a ticket for that and I realized it when we
01:23were driving at night and he our my 14 year old Jaden turned the dome light on and I'm like turn the
01:28light off oh it's not a law you just can't see yeah you just don't like the fact that there's a
01:34glare exactly yeah yeah it's uh we all I mean there's little little white lies that you end up
01:39telling your kids are that you were told as a kid 702-597-1027 my mom was was like she hit me with a
01:47heavy one yeah because I would litter when I was a little kid you know because I'm you know
01:51yeah whatever just gonna disappear and go like into the abyss right who knows and my mom told me
01:58and I believed this for years my mom told me that there will come a time where if one piece of trash
02:06is on the ground too many the world will end I mean that's heavy it's very heavy but I mean
02:11you gotta do what you gotta do you have to scare them uh into doing what you want or telling them
02:20not to do something that they want to do right yeah um and it's just truly how you survive as a
02:25parent so what lies are you telling now um other than the dome light one uh one time Jaden we talked
02:32about this a while ago too is with the the brushing of the teeth with toddlers it's really really difficult
02:38and Jaden finally started brushing his teeth but then he didn't like toothpaste he didn't like the
02:43way it tasted I got him the bubble gum the cherry the you make you know what I mean you get all of
02:48the sparkle one you want transformers here you go yeah didn't want to use any of them of course and I
02:54had to I googled uh as a pictures google images of teeth decay and when I showed him he's like oh I
03:02said this is what you'll look like if you don't use toothpaste and he was trying to read the caption
03:07he couldn't read at the time he said what does it say and I said little boy that didn't brush his
03:11toothpaste that's what it is and so sure enough he started using toothpaste that you gotta do what
03:18you gotta do yeah it's all about survival now hold on let's talk about the light like a blatant lie
03:23hey it's closed uh it's closed or I'll turn this car around uh-huh no you won't dad you just spend
03:30sixteen hundred dollars to go to Disneyland for the day you're not turning around you're in your pot
03:36committed uh-huh you're just gonna pray that they are not like this when they get there yeah
03:41exactly or it's like okay let me count to three I'm when I get to three and I go one two when I go

03:54about three that's I they know when I'm counting it's like these kids have seen Jesus they are up
04:03and they are moving one they're like oh my god I think that's like a quality dads have because
04:09my husband when he he doesn't even start to count he just like looks and they like lay down like
04:14golden retrievers like oh my god dad's got the look it's just a thing because you know you don't
04:20want to disappoint your kids you don't want them to hate you but there's you also need them to
04:25respect you right so like if you don't have that like sort of a little bit of authority there yeah
04:30did you did you did you play too much into the I mean you did get 17 different brands of toothpaste
04:34yeah oh I play into everything yes yeah all of it all of it what about uh I remember my we had a lot
04:40of frogs and did you have like a ton of frogs in like Boston no we had earthworms where I lived
04:45oh so did we so did we but we had a ton of frogs too and my mom used to always tell me
04:50that if I touched a frog you would get a wart always always always and I never touched them
04:55they grossed me out and I sure enough got a wart I was like I swear I didn't touch a frog I swear I never
