00:00Amy and Sean on 1027 VGS.
00:04Ah, poor Roman.
00:06My toddler, Roman, he's three years old.
00:08And he has his iPad that he doesn't really use.
00:12Like, he's not super crazy about it.
00:15So we're pretty lucky we don't, like, monitor a ton.
00:17Yeah.
00:18But he knows that we all have these virtual assistants, if you will.
00:23Use that term very lightly.
00:25And she's the worst.
00:26And I wish we could pull up some audio.
00:30We actually could do this after this.
00:33Where is it?
00:34It's on Instagram.
00:35Okay.
00:35On my Instagram page.
00:37So he was trying to unlock it.
00:40Now, that's the other thing.
00:41We have a lock on it that he can't get into.
00:44So he needs help doing so.
00:45And he thought, oh, well, I'll just tell Siri to unlock it for him.
00:51And he was going nuts trying to get Siri to unlock for him.
00:59Siri.
01:00Don't text me.
01:03You text me?
01:06Siri is useless.
01:07Yeah, she is.
01:08Continue.
01:09Don't hurt me.
01:10Siri's the worst, mom.
01:15Siri's the worst, mom.
01:18Siri's the worst.
01:19Siri's like the worst.
01:22Yeah, I agree.
01:23And she is.
01:24I was dying.
01:25And I didn't want to help him because he just kept complaining.
01:27He said, Siri, make me worse, mom.
01:30Siri's the worst.
01:31And she is.
01:33I try to be so kind to my Siri.
01:36I know that sounds so stupid.
01:38But I really will say please and thank you because I feel like your phone knows.
01:43And it really does mess with you.
01:44Yeah.
01:44And two of the worst times, I always, I am very forgetful.
01:49So I tell her, hey, Siri, remind me blah, blah, blah to on whatever date.
01:53Right.
01:54And oh, don't come now.
01:55Don't come at me.
01:56And she just said, now you want to listen.
01:59And so I, Jaden was doing a project when he was in like fourth or fifth grade on, they
02:07were given states and his was Iowa.
02:09And that is like the known as like the corn state.
02:12So you had to bring a food to represent your state.
02:15So I told Siri to remind me on such and such a date to buy a bunch of corn.
02:22Oh, no.
02:23So I wake up one morning and I have on my phone, like on my home screen, it says reminding
02:30you to buy a bunch of porn.
02:31Of course.
02:32Siri is such a backstabbing.
02:33Like, come on.
02:34Backstabbing.
02:34Why would I ask you to do that?
02:36That's amazing.
02:38The next time we were taking a family trip and I, it was Roman's first time on a plane.
02:45So I wasn't sure like what, if he was going to be a lap child or not, whatever it was.
02:49And so, hey, Siri, remind me tomorrow to call American Airlines about a lap child.
02:54So the next morning I wake up and it says, call American Airlines about a black child.
02:58And I'm like, what are you doing?
03:01Partially correct.
03:01Partially correct.
03:02That is true.
03:03Yeah, it is.
03:04She's the worst.
03:05How big of a smart assistant fails you've had?
03:08702-597-1027.
03:09My kids, they don't use tablets.
03:12I don't like, I don't like them having phones in their hand.
03:14I'm just trying to, because like when, back when we were around, like you would have to
03:18wait.
03:18If you wanted to see Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, you had to catch it when it aired
03:23on CBS or you didn't see it that year.
03:25Right.
03:25The end.
03:26That's the way it worked.
03:27Now you get to see anything, whenever you want.
03:30And like, so the kids, they just go right up to the smart speaker.
03:33Okay, Google.
03:34Uh-huh.
03:34Play.
03:35Play, Spider-Man, dress up for kids, videos on YouTube for kids.
03:40Oh, Roman.
03:41And it does it.
03:41It does it.
03:42It's amazing.
03:43It does.
03:43And, or I'll have something on, we have one of those Facebook portals in the kitchen.
03:49And so I'll put music on while I'm making dinner or whatnot.
03:53And I'll be listening to whatever Beyonce will say.
03:56And all of a sudden, he'll play Cocomelon because Roman goes up and says, hey, Portal, play Cocomelon.
04:01And I'm like, shut up.
04:03Oh, God.
04:04You saw it.
04:04No, wait until you hear.
04:05I should play some of the space raps that we've been playing.
04:09Oh, my gosh.
04:10This is some of the worst trash you've ever heard in your life.
04:15You know what?
04:16We might play that a little later on because it is so awful.
04:19Maybe like the worst child videos you have to watch because your kid is in control of YouTube might be a good job.
04:24It's true.
04:25Yeah.
04:26The biggest problem I've been having is just trying to get our state.
04:28Because when you have a new station, you have to train all these smart speakers to do it.
04:31So I'm like, hey, Google, listen to 1027 VGS.
04:33And it starts playing a random freaking YouTube playlist.
04:36Oh, my gosh.
04:36It's because you don't know how to, if you're supposed to say, hey, play or hey, do something else.
04:41There's keywords that it knows.
04:43I'm so confused by it that we just had one of my friends text me and said, hey, I want to listen to you when I'm at home.
04:52How do I do it?
04:52I said, I have no idea.
04:53Yeah, yeah, no.
04:54Alexa seems to be working now.
04:56If you're on a Google, say, listen to KVGS.
04:58Honestly, our text family might know more than we do.
05:01702-597-1027.
05:03If you're streaming us, how do you, or if you're listening on your smart device, how?
05:07How the heck did you pull that off?
05:08How are you doing it?
05:08I need to know.
