00:03The feeling of satisfaction that finally the long journey has finally come to an end.
00:07And that too with grace.
00:09Preparation ke agar mein baat karoong to it has varied because it was a long journey.
00:13It was my fifth attempt.
00:14So in every attempt I had tried something new.
00:16Tried working on my shortcomings of the previous attempt.
00:19And inculcating some newer perspective and new way of studying.
00:22I belong to Prayag Raj.
00:24Allahabad jo hai humara Uttar Pradesh may come from there.
00:26Baat karein toh ye pura pura jo jo sapna tha UPSC ka.
00:30It started with my father.
00:32Jinnwane pe sabse pehle ye sapna dekha tha.
00:34And when I started reading about the job profile.
00:36The work roles that are given to these public servants.
00:39I think that intrigued me towards moving towards this UPSC.
00:42Is puri journey mein Allahabad ka toh hamesha hi ek role rahe ga.
00:46Because that's my birthplace.
00:47I've been born, brought up there.
00:49Or jo pura jo perspective building hota hai.
00:50And how a person becomes.
00:52That all is shaped by that place.
00:53Then talking about my parents.
00:55They are the one who have been the constant support.
00:57Constant motivation.
00:58Woh the toh mahi ya haan peh hoon.
00:59Otherwise it would not have been possible at all.
01:02UPSC ke time kuch chise toh mahi nai sikhi.
01:05Jaisi first thing was patience.
01:07Kyunki life mein har chise kabhi kabhi time peh nahi milti hai.
01:10You will have to wait along.
01:11Choda patience, thoda perseverance.
01:13Is required to stay in this.
01:15Some tough battles that have to be won.
01:17Toh ye ak adat hai jo mahi nahi sikhi UPSC ke doraan.
01:20And that will help me.
01:21I think I'm moving ahead in future as well.
01:23Talking about the focus areas.
01:25Being a woman and coming from a ruler, you know, districts.
01:28Like I belong to the outskirts of Praagradh.
01:30So I've seen women face lots of issues.
01:33Be it their health related issues.
01:35Be it safety concerns.
01:36And there are also like so many women who are unaware about their rights.
01:39Toh there are certain things.
01:40Like the government is working.
01:41And still those things are not reaching to the grassroot level.
01:44So these are the areas where I would like to work upon.
01:46Abhi toh maam, joo service hai, iski kya requirements hai, kaise journey unfold hogi.
01:50Toh dekhna baakhi hai.
01:51Because jo basic inki responsibility hai grassroot level peh, how they functions is yet to be known.
01:56But mein agar apne sapnou ki baat karo hon.
01:57Toh yes, one would be always priority would be women.
02:00Safety, security, health.
02:01Then comes children, jinkhi education, unki nutritional requirements are something that I would like to focus upon.
02:07Agar mein nation ki baat karo hon.
02:08And I think being as an Indian administrative service officer, I think being a straight frame of the country,
02:13we are the one who are required to, you know, act as a connect between the people and the government.
02:18And that is which, that is something which is required in a democracy.
02:21So yes, I'll try my best to fulfill my responsibilities, my roles to best of my abilities.
02:27Yes.
02:28Ye jo mera proper phase tha preparation kaite has been long.
02:31Because ye mera fifth attempt hai.
02:32Initially first attempts me, I couldn't clear the prelims itself.
02:35Uske baad fourth attempt me, my interview tak gai, but couldn't clear the exam by 12 marks.
02:41And then comes the fifth attempt, Holindia rank one, by God's grace.
02:44Toh struggle ki baat karo hon.
02:45Toh is exam me, kabhi kabhi, you know, direction less ho jana is very common.
02:50Because itna vast syllabus hai, itna lengthy syllabus hai ki kya pahna hai, kitna pahna hai, that becomes an issue.
02:55And agar proper guidance nahi ho, proper strategy nahi ho, toh we tend to basically deviate from the path,
03:00jo mera saath initially hua.
03:01They were very low moments, jab, jab teen attempts mein pradumsi nahi nikla kabhi ko bhi laga, ap chhod dhena chahiye, nahi ho ga mudhse.
03:07But then my parents, my brothers, sisters, they're always being there ki nahi tum karo, you can do it.
03:12You just require thoda sa, like, you know, you need to change your strategy a bit.
03:15And that's how things worked out in fourth attempt.
03:17But maybe God has other plans, tonho ne wait karaaya ek saal aur.
03:21But here I am, I think things have folded, unfolded in a very beautiful and this journey finally comes to an end with a grace.
03:28So that's all about it.
03:29Abhi toh mein, jab se result aya hai, taf se mein hain institute mei ho, toh abhi time toh nahi mila.
03:35Celebration is all about being with my parents.
03:37Kal mein ghar ja rahi ho, to meet them, to finally see those smiles on their faces, jo abhi strif phone pe dek pahin ho mein.
03:42So ya, celebration meri lewa hiya, unke paas jana, kuch din sukun se so na, so these are two priorities.
03:48Nahi baat karoom, toh meinhe foundation course kaafi initial liya tha, 2018-19 batch ke my student thi, ya hain per.
03:54But wo, usne shape ki meri journey, because I, mein ek non-humanities background se aati hon.
03:59Toh for me, subjects like, specifically economics, ya geography, ya thodhi tough subjects hodet hai.
04:03But as I came here, or ya hain pe joh teachers thay, kuch teachers ke mein naam lena chahongi,
04:07jasye Jain Parikshit sir hain, ya Shyam sir hain, for economics, ya here with geography ke liya manoucha sir thay,
04:12ye logo ne geography or economics ho kaafi easy form me samjhaaya, bataya.
04:16That makes thing easier for me to understand and build upon that.
04:19Toh I think ye teachers ka toh hamisha hi role rehta hai, to guide and to show us the right direction.
04:24Wo raha, kyunki meins ki bhi student thi mein ya hain pe, for the test series.
04:27And that also I got a lot of guidance and help.
04:29Interview ke liya, Ravindran sir se hi merah one-on-one jab hua tha.
04:32Tab sir ne tabhi kaha tha ki, you are the candidate, we start ranking or start giving marks like 190 plus.
04:38Toh aapko marks achche milenge, we have like full faith in you.
04:42And I think that turned out to be true.
