00:25and was buried in the tomb something astonishing happened early in the day mary magdalene and the
00:34other mary went to see the tomb and suddenly there was a great earthquake for an angel of the lord
00:41descending from heaven rolled back the stone covering the tomb the angel said do not be afraid
00:49i know you are looking for jesus who was crucified he is not here come see the place where he lay
00:57then go quickly and tell the disciples he has been raised from the dead
01:03so they left the tomb quickly with fear and great joy and ran to tell the disciples
01:10for christians this is the best news in the world the word gospel means good news
01:17and the very heart of that good news is jesus resurrection that even though everyone messes
01:24up sometimes by our faith in jesus we have a way back to god we hear the women were filled with great
01:33joy as they delivered the resurrection news in believing jesus conquered our sin and death we have
01:42such joy and thankfulness that jesus gives us a way back to god and on easter day we celebrate and say
01:50alleluia christ is risen he is risen indeed alleluia
