Wacky News: Hot Soup Assault and Lawyer Drops His Drawers

00:00A woman in Texas got angry over the weekend because the soup that she got from a Mexican

00:04restaurant was too hot, so she responded by throwing it at an employee. Oh no, no, no, no.

00:10Yeah, it happened at a Mexican restaurant in Temple, Texas. She called in and was livid because

00:15the soup she ordered was so hot that it melted the plastic lid of her to-go container. The cashier

00:21who answered the phone was a young girl and she said she did everything right. She apologized and

00:26offered a refund and we'll get you free food, the works, you know. Well, this woman was

00:30so upset she showed up at the restaurant and continued to curse at the employee. That's

00:35when they called the cops and the woman threw the soup at the girl's face and walked out.

00:40Luckily, the soup had cooled down by then, but it was spicy soup, so it was like getting

00:43pepper sprayed in the face, she said. Oh no. And the restaurant has banned this woman and

00:48there is footage online. You can watch it. The police say charges are pending. I hope

00:52they are because I have seen it and that is just not the way to handle a situation like

00:57that. Hey, come on, it was a cup of soup for God's sake. Of course, it's going to be hot.

01:02Duh. Right. Okay. It melted the lid. Go back, get some new soup and be on your way.

01:09All right. We love to love or love to hate lawyers. Yeah. You know, everybody hates them

01:15until they need one. Exactly. Okay. Then it's a whole different ballgame. Well, this particular

01:20lawyer, I don't like the folks and the judge that he was, because he was going into family

01:26court to handle a case. And he showed up, he went through the metal detector to get in,

01:35as most courthouses have them all up there still. And he walked through and the alarm went

01:40off. So security said, okay, let's check your pockets. He emptied all of his pockets and

01:44everything out and into the bin. He walked back through and the alarm went off again.

01:50And he said, well, you know, maybe it's my suspenders. And so they just said, well, okay,

01:54take your suspenders off. He said, no, I'm not going to do it. I'm not going to take my suspenders

01:58off. So they got in a heated argument with the guards and he knew he wasn't going to win.

02:03So he said, okay, I'll take the suspenders off. He took the suspenders off, which held

02:08up his pants. And in the process, he said, well, why don't y'all just take the pants as

02:12well? Took off his pants, put the suspenders and the pants in the bin to show the guards

02:18what for. So there he is standing on the other side after he walked through. And sure enough,

02:24the alarm did not go off that time. He's standing on the other side, no pants on. He's in his

02:29underwear and in his shirt and a deputy showed up. They arrested him for disorderly conduct.

02:36And I don't know what the judge is going to say about the case that he was supposed to

02:39be in and didn't get to go in because he got arrested. But more so, I want to see the

02:46after result of how he gets out of this. There's a good chance he will. He might. He just might

02:52if he's a good enough lawyer. But I do like his attitude because sometimes you just have

02:57enough of enough of enough. Yeah. You know, you've been through any airport security or

03:02any of those things. You kind of know how he was feeling. Oh, yeah.
