Wacky News: A Stolen Ambulance And  A Criminal Goes On A Wild Spree

00:00This is a funny story out of Pennsylvania.

00:02On Monday, a 34-year-old man named Raymond stole an ambulance.

00:06First responders were on call at the time,

00:09but luckily the patient's condition wasn't life-threatening.

00:12Well, Raymond drove that ambulance about 45 minutes south of where he was,

00:16where he was spotted by the same paramedic who normally drives that ambulance.

00:20He was off duty at the time and was just out riding his motorcycle.

00:24Well, he called the police to tip them off, and eventually they caught up with Raymond.

00:27And although he crashed the ambulance into a tractor trailer before they could stop him,

00:32the good news is no one was hurt, but the ambulance was really banged up.

00:36Oh, no.

00:38That guy's going to spend some time behind bars.

00:39I think so.

00:40And so will this one.

00:41I mean, he probably should have been just for his name, his first two names, Jesse James.

00:48Last name is Moore.

00:50And so he was living up to his namesake.

00:53He went up to a kid on a bicycle.

00:55He evidently just needed to get around, and he asked the kid if he'd sell it to him.

01:01He said, no, I like my bicycle.

01:03So he took it anyway and took off on the bicycle.

01:07Well, about three hours later, cops get a phone call.

01:10It's a report of a stolen motorcycle outside a grocery store.

01:15They had a suspicion that it might have been the same person,

01:19mainly because he took the Harley and left the kid's bike in its place.

01:23Ooh, that's an upgrade.

01:24Oh, a nice upgrade.

01:26Well, he didn't know how to operate the motorcycle very much, though.

01:30He didn't even make it out of the parking lot.

01:32He parked it.

01:33Police spotted him walking into a subway restaurant

01:36where he proceeded to lock himself in the women's restroom when he saw him coming.

01:42This gets even better, folks.

01:43The owner of the store ended up kicking in the door, but they found this guy lying on the ground

01:51because he had tried to get out through the drop ceiling and fell through it.

02:00And needless to say, when they searched him, they found a ham he had stolen earlier in the day from Subway.

02:08Employees came in, filled out.

02:10He came in and filled out an application to work there.

02:13And while they were looking the other way, he grabbed some meat and then took off.

02:18Two counts, petty theft, bike, motorcycle, and the ham for Jesse James.

02:25Wow.
