Bernie Sanders Decries War In Gaza, Says US Must Stop Funding 'The Horrendous Netanyahu War Machine'

At a "Fighting Oligarchy" rally in Missoula, Montana on Wednesday, Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) spoke about US support for Israel's war in Gaza.

00:00But it is not just domestic policies of the Trump administration that should concern us.

00:08For the first time, embarrassingly, for the first time in the 250-year proud history of the United States,

00:16we have a president who is aligning us with a dictatorship in Russia.

00:23No, Mr. President, Ukraine did not start that terrible war. Russia did.

00:42And let me tell you something else.

00:44We cannot continue to fund, under Biden or Trump, this horrendous Netanyahu war machine.

01:14Israel, Israel, like the United States and every other country, has the right to defend itself against terrorism.

01:23But Israel does not have the right to wage a barbaric war against the people of Gaza.

01:33Kill over 50,000, wound 110,000, and destroy the entire infrastructure of Gaza.

01:47And let me tell you something that is even worse and almost unimaginable.

01:54And in the beginning, I almost thought it was a stupid joke, bad joke.

01:57And that is, right now, Trump is talking about forcibly expelling the suffering people of Gaza

02:07and creating a Riviera for the billionaire class in Gaza.

02:18The American people will not ever allow that to happen.

02:27Our job, our job right now in this.
