00:16Well, I think they are important in the sense that there is a date coming up on the calendar in October 2025

00:23when the snapback sanctions mechanism under U.N. Security Council Resolution 2231 expires.

00:30So there is going to be a forcing mechanism for the United States and its other allies and partners

00:36to make a decision as to diplomacy with the Islamic Republic and the invocation of that snapback sanctions mechanism,

00:43which would restore the previous U.N. Security Council resolutions against Tehran

00:48that were temporarily suspended with the creation of the JCPOA in 2015.
