The Marine Parade cluster - Braddell Heights, Geylang Serai, Joo Chiat, Kembangan-Chai Chee, Marine Parade, MacPherson and Mountbatten - has launched the caregiver support fund and youth career programme.

00:00If you look at all of the initiatives, we couldn't have planned it to time this.

00:10The bus service started sometime back last year, in fact in July last year.

00:14At the same time, in terms of engaging the companies to support the internships, the

00:19working towards coming up with a whole slew of initiatives to support the caregiver support

00:24network.

00:25I think those are initiatives that we have had, that's ongoing, that we have actually

00:29enhanced it.

00:31And it turns out that from SG60, which happens this year, the timing is such, it just ended

00:37up serendipitously coming up at this particular time.

00:40But if you look at the amount of effort, the funding support, the rallying of the people

00:46that went behind this entire two very big, very, very engaging initiatives, those could

00:53not have been planned last minute.
