00:00Hello and welcome, we are at Startup Mahakumar 2025 and this is the second edition of Startup
00:11Mahakumar.
00:12In this edition, we have got a lot of unique startups from which we are going to talk to
00:17the founders and directors of one of the startups.
00:20So tell me about the product.
00:22Is this product government certified or not?
00:25We have developed this product in CSIR, Government Central Scientific Research Institute and
00:32they have the patent for it.
00:34We are the commercialization partners of this product so that we can deliver this product
00:37to every corner of the country.
00:39Our filter has been developed by CSIR, our arsenic filter has been developed in IIT Madras
00:46and the container you are seeing is food grade material.
00:49We have developed food grade plastic in CIPIT, Central Government's Plastic Manufacturing Institute.
00:55So every product that we have used in this filter is all certified.
00:59It is safe water to drink as per Bureau of Indian Standards, 10500 standards.
01:04And we have already delivered this product to 5 lakh homes in every corner of the country
01:09through our NGO partners.
01:12So with your support, we can do more.
01:14Tell me your name and about your product.
01:17I am Navya and we are selling this product.
01:21It's a natural water purifier.
01:23This doesn't require any electricity.
01:26It's very eco-friendly.
01:28It saves a lot of water.
01:30The water wastage in RO reduces all of that.
01:33It has zero water wastage.
01:35And it's very cost effective for you because like a regular RO,
01:39this doesn't require regular maintenance like in every 6 months or every 8 months.
01:43This is just a one time purchase.
01:45And it's very cost effective for you.
01:47It's sustainable and what not.
01:49So basically how this works is,
01:52in this we have a terracotta filter.
01:56The filter, as you can see here,
01:59we have poured mud into this water.
02:02And the filter has trapped all the mud in itself.
02:05There are pores in which the mud is getting trapped.
02:08And then the fresh water is going through the pipe to this container.
02:14It has the drinkable water which is 100% safe for you.
02:18It is healthy and 100% safe to drink.
02:22And what's your company's name?
02:24So we are an IIM Lucknow Incubated Startup.
02:26We are incubated in 2023.
02:28We are a team of veterans who came from the industry.
02:31And we are working for the BFSI industry.
02:34We call ourselves as Startups for Startups.
02:37So there are 3 things that we do.
02:40But we are challenging 2 products of us.
02:42One first is Bharat eSign.
02:44The name is very unique.
02:46Bharat eSign where we want to remove papers from everybody's life.
02:50Because we want to save the ecosystem, the tree.
02:52It's UN, ESG as well.
02:54So under that sustainable goal, we are contributing ourselves.
02:57And we are helping businesses, individuals,
03:00save paper and all contracts,
03:03any kind of contract, any documentation they do.
03:05We are providing digital e-signing services
03:08which is Aadhaar based e-signing, virtual signing.
03:11You can use a DSC and there are multiple use cases.
03:14In government also there are incidents
03:17where government officials need to sign lakhs of documents per month.
03:20And there is no mechanism.
03:23So we are trying to solve this problem in tier 2 and tier 3 towns
03:26as well as for the BFSI ecosystem.
03:29And now since government is also incentivizing companies
03:33for going digital, it's digital India.
03:34So we are contributing ourselves.
03:36So I have my co-founder Narayan with me as well.
03:38Narayan, please tell me that how did you get this idea?
03:41Because in India everything is documented based.
03:44From Aadhaar to from every, death certificate to birth certificate, everything.
03:47So how did you get this idea to reduce the use of documents and papers?
03:53When we started to sign lot of contracts for ourselves.
03:57When we started, Tezipay is a parent company that we have.
03:59It's a tech company, it's a fintech.
04:01And we work outside of India, we work in couple of other countries.
04:04So I am from a banking background for more than couple of decades.
04:07And the co-founders, they are having a media background.
04:10So each and every founder of this company has a different, different
04:13couple of decades of background and different verticals.
04:15So when we created this, then we had to sign lot of documents.
04:18And then when we look for the solution,
04:21is there any easy way that we can do the signature?
04:24Because one of my co-founder who sits in Chennai,
04:27like he want to sign the document, right?
04:29So that is when we started researching ourselves.
04:32For ourselves, we started researching like, what is the best way of doing it?
04:35That is when the Bharatiya Zain was born.
04:38And the Bharatiya Zain, the name came the day when president,
04:42there was a G20 meeting that happened, which everybody knows, right?
04:45So that was a day when the president said like,
04:47after this India is not there, it's going to be Bharat.
04:50And you would have seen the placard of president, and it was all Bharat.
04:54That is when we booked the domain of Bharatiya Zain.
04:57So that's a whole powerful name.
04:59And on top of it, we created Markarita.
05:02It's a 360 degree brand management company.
05:05And we do from brand management to fundraising.
05:08And we got into investor circles.
05:10And then we let the startups build their brands from 0 to 100.
05:14And then help them raise the funds.
05:16That's what the motive of it is.
05:18So as he said, startups of startups.
05:20That's a startup of startups.
05:21Exactly.
05:22So it's a great initiative.
05:23And I wish you all the best, you both.
05:25And I wish that the trees should be cut less,
05:29the use of papers should be less.
05:31And that is one thing.
05:32And the other thing is that we are here,
05:34this huge stage has been given by the Indian government,
05:36by DPITI, by Startup India.
05:38This is a very good initiative,
05:40where with a very small amount of money,
05:43all the startups can show their unique ideas
05:46not just to the country, but to the whole world.
05:49And we say to ourselves that we have come from the media background.
05:52I used to work in the media before.
05:54So this is what we have found that
05:56a startup is required for startups.
05:59We have all 20 plus years of experience,
06:01but we are going back at the drawing board,
06:05finding the problems and trying to solve those problems.
06:07First of all, tell us the name of your company
06:09and which product are you presenting to us today?
06:13Please tell us about that.
06:14As I would like to tell, my name is Aryan Singh
06:16and my co-founder is Rishi Raj.
06:18So the name of our company is VisionX Mera Sati,
06:21where we make multiple AI, IoT and AIOS equipments for the farmers.
06:27So the equipments that you have made,
06:30basically how did you launch this product to help the farmers?
06:36As we know that farming is the background of India,
06:40and everyone belongs to it.
06:44So we faced a problem that
06:46why should a farmer have a separate machine for every work?
06:48For example, if a farmer wants to buy a tractor,
06:52he has to pay 5-7 lakhs above.
06:54And we can't do anything with the tractor alone.
06:56There are different attachments with it,
06:58which vary in cost.
07:00And no one can afford it easily,
07:02and can't be available on rent basis.
07:04So we had an idea that
07:06why don't we launch an AC machine in the market
07:08which does multiple activities like cutting, seeding, irrigation,
07:11crop analysing, AI, IoT.
07:13How to connect the farmer with AI and IoT
07:16so that their productivity increases.
07:18Can I know your age?
07:20We both are 18 years old,
07:22and we registered our company at the age of 18.
07:25So how did you get this idea at the age of 18?
07:28You must have faced a problem,
07:30or you must have seen people around you.
07:32So tell me, how did you get that first click?
07:34I would like to tell you that
07:36when we were 16 years old,
07:39we got this idea during our school days.
07:42In our SR public school,
07:45there is a government of India initiative,
07:48NITI Aayog's initiative,
07:50Atal Innovation Mission.
07:52There is a lab under that,
07:54where we can work on our ideas.
07:56We got a platform there,
07:58where we can execute our dreams.
08:00I would like to tell you that
08:02we are from a farming background,
08:04so we have faced all these problems.
08:06Tell me about this product,
08:08how does it operate,
08:11We made this for agriculture,
08:14which can do all the work of a farmer,
08:16like cutting, seeding, irrigation,
08:18crop monitoring, and many more.
08:20So basically, it runs autonomously,
08:23in which the farmer's farm,
08:25works through its mapping,
08:27in which it cuts one round,
08:29detects all the obstacles,
08:31and starts working autonomously.
08:34What is the price of this product?
08:36Is it in the range of farmer-friendly price?
08:40Currently, this is a prototype,
08:42but the actual product,
08:44which is going to be ready,
08:46will be around Rs. 1 lakh.
08:48How durable are the batteries,
08:50how long can they last,
08:52and how long can they be useful for a farmer?
08:57The battery capacity can run for a day easily,
09:00because it has a solar panel,
09:02which can be charged by tracking the sun.
09:05It also has a backup system,
09:07a piezoelectric backup system,
09:09which can generate backup energy,
09:11while it is running.
