00:58Before we get to the fight itself, I know there's a lot of back and forth between you guys.

01:02There was, you know, beef at the weigh-in, some shoving and stuff like that.

01:05PKSU is building this as, you know, kind of the, you know,

01:08the beef between the counties down there in the Miami area.

01:11For those of us who don't know, who don't live down there,

01:13how much, you know, rivalry is there between the two counties and two areas of Miami

01:18that you guys both representing before you even stepped into that squared circle?

01:23Well, first off, thank you.

01:25And thank you for having me once again.

01:27Look, there is no rivalry.

01:30That's back in the days.

01:32You know, I grew up in Florida.

01:34I've been living in Miami for about 28, going on 29 years.

01:38And I grew up in a time when there was a lot of gang violence.

01:41Like, the streets was real back then.

01:44Not anymore.

01:45There's no, that is not happening anymore.

01:47You know, but at heart, the culture, you know, we still, you know,

01:51we rep Dave, they rep Broward.

01:53But there is no wars going on like it used to be back in the days.

01:57So, none of that is happening anymore.

01:59It was more like a cultural thing where, you know, I'm from Dave.

02:03Where are you from?

02:04I'm from Broward.

02:05So, let's go out and see who the king is, you know.

02:07And Dave County always coming on top.

02:11I feel that, you know, growing up in New York,

02:12you always had the different boroughs and who's better,

02:14even though you're all New Yorkers.

02:16So, there's a little rivalry, but in the end, you know, you're from Miami.

02:19You're all from down there in South Florida representing.

02:21And you both have done a great job over the years.

02:23And now, you just want to see mano a mano who is best.

02:25Although, even though there might not be beefs between the counties,

02:27it seemed like you guys definitely had your issues with each other

02:30throughout the fight.

02:31It seemed like after every round, you guys were still up in each other's face.

02:34You know, mouthing off before you went back to your corners.

02:37You know, trying to get not just the last punch, but the last word.

02:39What was the mood between you guys?

02:42Obviously, you're in there for your fright.

02:43You know, you have emotions.

02:45You got adrenaline.

02:46Everything's running high.

02:47But what was the feeling between you guys, besides just the fist flying,

02:50the words flying as well throughout the fight?

02:53Well, you know, this is the young lion that, you know,

02:56had been getting groomed to be next in line for the title.

03:00You know, the younger guy, what, 14 years younger than me,

03:04won a great record.

03:06You know, 8-1, I think it is.

03:07Or, yeah, 8-1-1.

03:09I thought it was two losses.

03:10But from what I heard in the report there, it was eight wins,

03:15one loss, one draw.

03:17And the only loss is to Kai, which is also a champion at 145.

03:21You know, to get a record like that in BKFC, you know,

03:24this is the mother of bare-knuckle events.

03:27It's like the UFC of bare-knuckle.

03:30You know, this is the top of the line.

03:33You know what I mean?

03:34So, to get a record like that, you have to respect it.

03:36He came in, you know, he's always been very respectful.

03:39Howard, I've always liked him.

03:41I've always said it.

03:43Of course, in the whole weigh-ins moment, you know,

03:46he has a big team behind him, pushing on the whole All-In

03:49management crew, you know, pushing him and making him believe,

03:53you know, that he's ready for me.

03:56You know, they're trying to count me out at my age without

04:00considering how much work and discipline I put in.

04:04But there was no real animosity between us.

04:08It was all fight building.

04:10You know, the day of the weigh-ins, there was a shock there

04:13because he did the big, no, no, don't touch me.

04:15You know, I'm very respectful with all my opponents.

04:23Because then you're going to get the animal out.

04:25I mean, I did grow up in Dade County when the streets

04:29were the streets.

04:30Nowadays, everything's chill.

04:32It's not like the time in Miami anymore.

04:34I mean, but, yeah, man, you know, everything was cool.

04:38And then after the fight, after the fight,

04:42I've been hearing a lot of this.

04:43And once again, it revolves around who's around you,

04:47who's talking on these things.

04:49And he started to say that he caught an elbow.

04:52And then he put a clip of the, like, super slow motion.

04:56And it makes him look even worse because the elbow, number one,

05:01doesn't land.

05:02It's like this happens.

05:04We're going in a flurry.

05:05This touches him.

05:07It didn't cut him.

05:08It didn't stunt him.

05:10A point wasn't taken away.

05:11There's no reason to even mention something like that.

05:14You're in a brawl.

05:20So, you know, that shows the immaturity is still in there.

05:24I still believe that if he works very hard and continues on the path

05:28that he's on, I believe he'll become champion sometime out of my timeline,
