00:00The Forest Products Research and Development Institute of the Department of Science and Technology, or DOST,

00:08was the first to verify the quality of the paper used in the election after the election committee's decision.

00:14According to FPDRI, Senior Research Specialist Amy Beatrix Habon,

00:21along with election-related paper products, they also examine multi-form folders, papers, seals, and others.

00:30The FD or FPDRI has a testing laboratory that meets international standards.

00:36Using this, they will examine if a paper meets the following guidelines.

00:42This facility is used by the participants in the committee's bidding.

00:47DOST Secretary Renato Solidum Jr. said that if a paper meets the standards,

00:55it will help for a proper and integrated election.

01:02We ensure that our products meet international standards.

01:08Just like the thermal papers that are sent to the machines,

01:13the weight, thickness, and brightness must be correct.
