00:24to work doubly harder on their preparations to assess and medicate probable damage and

00:30keep a lower body count even more.

00:33So efforts are afoot by the DPWH to refurbish or retrofit existing infrastructure that need

00:41reinforcement to withstand a magnitude of the likes of the big one.

00:46Further, the Public Works and Highways Department is lending a hand to help the DOT protect

00:52its existing railways lines with preventive maintenance measures.

00:57For their part, the DOST, PHIVOX, Office of Civil Defense, and MMDA are working closely

01:03to prepare the public through repeated fire and earthquake drills, which will great help

01:09in saving lives and doing the right thing when the big one hits.
