00:00Department of Budget and Management, or DBM, has approved the Implementing Rules and Regulations, or IRR, of Republic Act 12009,

00:10the New Government Procurement Act, or NGPA. The IRR will guide the modernization of procurement systems in government agencies,

00:19aiming to improve value for money, efficiency, and service quality through modern technology.

00:26DBM Secretary Amena Pangandaman highlighted the importance of these reforms in ensuring high standards of public service.

00:34Officials from various government departments including DPWH, DND, and DepEd attended the meeting to discuss the new regulations.
