00:12In a statement yesterday, it said its subsidiary, Petronas Gas Burhat, which owns the affected

00:17pipeline, is assessing the incident's impact while taking steps to secure the gas supply

00:23and minimize disruptions.

00:25The company said it is prioritizing safety, assistance to victims, and coordination with

00:30authorities to implement effective relief measures.

00:34Three nearby petrol stations that were closed as a safety precaution have since resumed

00:38operations following clearance from the relevant authorities.

00:42Petronas reaffirmed its commitment to operational safety and promised ongoing updates as investigations

00:48and recovery efforts continue.

00:51A massive gas pipeline fire raged along Jalan Putra Harmony, Putra Heights yesterday morning.

00:56A 500-meter section of the pipeline was engulfed in flames.

01:00Flame from the gas explosion spread to several houses, forcing residents to be evacuated.

01:05More than 200 homes and several hundred vehicles were damaged.
