00:00It's Brock Purdy, a solid quarterback in the NFL, but I'm telling you right now,

00:03you see some people say, pay him at the top scale, $60 million a year,

00:08and then an equal amount of people pay him $15 million a year because we don't think he's all

00:12that much. I can't wait to see when this deal gets done, but the reason why it's taking so long and

00:17so many years is I don't think anybody knows exactly where that payslide is here for him.

00:23Brock Purdy, what is he actually worth?

00:25I mean, listen, I don't think either one of the quarterbacks I'm going to mention are worth the

00:34contracts they got, but Trevor Lawrence and Jordan Love got deals that I think Brock Purdy would

00:40feel like he is worth. I don't think Jordan Love and Trevor Lawrence are worth either one of those

00:45deals. I think they were both awful deals for quarterbacks who had proved nothing. Brock

00:49Purdy's at least gotten to a Super Bowl. He has that in his back pocket. That said, I don't know

00:57if the Niners feel like they need to be tied to him. I still have it in the back of my head that

01:02at some point in time, a trade materializes with the 49ers who cleared out a ton of cap space and

01:08a ton of salary to bring Kirk Cummings back to coach with Kyle Shanahan in San Francisco.

01:15I think there's a world where that trade could materialize, but I'm probably on an island on that

01:22one. I just don't know what they're waiting for with Purdy. If they would have wanted him that

01:25badly, they would have signed him already.
