00:00So we started on the 6th of January and we're working up till the 28th of March.
00:04We are clearing a safe walk route for a length of 48 miles, cutting back up to
00:13three meters on both sides of the track and we're also clearing structures,
00:18over structures and stations. We're clearing 600 meters each side of
00:23stations and we're clearing 300 meters each side of over structures to make it
00:29safe and to increase our adhesion through station areas and it's safety
00:36for around the over structures for trees falling and bridging across track.
00:41It's nice to have some money to plough into this line because there's a lot of
00:46dangerous trees through here, dead and dying, diseased trees. It's just like
00:50everything, the council and the road people, they treat the roads the same.
00:53They don't say oh we're not cutting a tree on that because it's an A road, we'd
00:57rather cut a tree on a motorway. It's the same here for us, just because it's not
01:01our main line, there's no less danger to the trains from a tree so we have to
01:07clear it exactly the same because the passengers expect the same service from
01:10us as the mainline passengers. We've got pride in it and I hope the guys doing
01:15the work are very proud of their work because we do thank them every night.
