00:46Is this a far-flung area in Kottuwa?
00:49What are you hearing about the information coming in?
00:55Pooja, a massive counter-terror operation is on in the Kottuwa district since Sunday
01:00evening because on Sunday evening terrorists were spotted in the forest area near Sanyal
01:06village.
01:07It was the locals who had informed the security forces that they had noticed movement of terrorists
01:13there.
01:14There was a lady and her husband who had seen five terrorists and the terrorists had even
01:18tried to help them as hostages and somehow they managed to save their lives and then
01:23they informed the security forces and after that a massive counter-terror operation was
01:27launched.
01:28But finally now the security forces have got success.
01:31They have been able to establish fresh contact with the terrorists.
01:35A gun fight is underway, a fresh encounter has broken out.
01:38On Sunday evening, remember Pooja, the security forces had also managed to establish contact
01:44with the terrorists.
01:45There was an encounter for 20 to 25 minutes but after that there was no sound of any gun
01:50fight or gun shots and after that a major counter-terror operation was launched across
01:56the length and breadth of this forest area.
01:59Now we are learning from our sources that an encounter has broken out near Juthana in
02:05the Kottuwa district of Jammu and Kashmir and this is the same group of terrorists who
02:08was earlier spotted near Sanyal village by the locals.

02:16focus to an otherwise relatively peaceful Jammu region.
