00:00Why do I have to stand between takes guys? This doesn't seem fair.
00:12I hope that there will be so many creators and creative people with disabilities that it's no longer a story.
00:19Today we're gonna be slacklining. I've officially run out of Workout Wednesday ideas that won't leave me injured.
00:26Let's do this!
00:28If I basically did enough work so that I was out of a job and not special, then I would have done something good, I'd say.
00:37Anyone can kayak! See, look! We're boating!
00:42The way disability is represented in media traditionally is terribly.
00:48It's either someone is a real inspiration or a sob story.
00:53And because of things like YouTube, that's changing.
00:58And the conversation around disability has gotten to be more about the individuals rather than just their ailments.
01:08I get probably five messages a day from people who either have disabilities or families of kids with disabilities saying,
01:33you know, your videos give me hope. And that, I never expected to have that impact.
01:42And I think I didn't realize that it would really make a difference to just be silly and have a disability and just put yourself out there.
01:57But I'm continually reminded that my work makes a difference, which makes me feel very, very lucky.
02:05And that's always what I wanted to do is be the type of person that I wished I had met when I was younger.
