During a hearing on DHS officers' use of force this week, Rep. Jasmine Crockett told Renee Good's family, as well as other survivors of violent interactions with ICE, that she hopes they are able to get justice. She noted that if DHS and the agents' involved are held accountable for their actions, the federal government could decide that "it is not worth it to go out and traumatize its citizens."
