00:11Shah Alam District Police Chief ACP Mohammad Iqbal Ibrahim said the teenager, who was riding

00:17his motorcycle, made a sudden and dangerous U-turn at a Persiaran Sultan roadblock around

00:239pm to avoid passing through.

00:25He said a motorcycle patrol unit officer tried to stop the rider.

00:29However, he ignored the order and dangerously crossed the road by riding over the divider.

00:36The teenager was then hit and dragged by a passing four-wheel drive vehicle, suffering

00:41fractures to his left thigh and shoulders.

00:44He was hospitalised at Shah Alam Hospital.

00:47Police confirmed the 17-year-old had no licence and the motorcycle's road tax had expired.

00:53The case is being investigated under Sections 186 and 279 of the Penal Code and Section

00:5943, Subsection 1 of the Road Transport Act, 1987.
