Six people were injured in a five-vehicle collision involving a Royal Malaysian Navy (TLDM) truck near Simpang Tiga, Jalan Teluk Baru, Langkawi, on Friday (May 23).

00:00Six people were injured in a five-vehicle collision involving a Royal Malaysian Navy
00:06TLDM truck near Simpangtiga Jalan Teluk Baru, Langkawi on Friday.
00:12Kherda Fire and Rescue Department Zone 1 chief, Senior Fire Officer 1 Ahmad Aminuddin Abdrahim,
00:18said his team received an emergency call at 3 p.m. and arrived at the scene within five minutes.
00:24A total of 30 individuals were involved in the incident.
00:28Among them, five men and one woman sustained injuries,
00:31including one person who reportedly suffered a neck injury.
00:35In a statement, TLDM said the three-ton truck was carrying 25 personnel
00:39for the Lima 25 maritime segment demonstration
00:43and was returning from Friday prayers at Al-Ihsan Timonyong Mosque when it lost control and skidded.
00:50TLDM added that a board of inquiry will be formed to determine the cause of the accident.
