People of Glasgow share their Easter traditions

Easter is coming up so we ask Glaswegians for their Easter traditions.

00:00We do, we do. We have the family meal. We go to church and we have the family meal.

00:05I've stupidly still insisted on my kids decorating an egg for us to roll somewhere.

00:10Or last year it was thrown in the river, which was funny.

00:13So if you're coming to my house on Easter Sunday, the theme this year is your favourite childhood outfit on your egg.

00:19And I'm going to win because it's my competition.

00:22And we do the same thing every year. And we eat far too much.

00:26I actually buy my wife a chocolate egg every year because if I didn't, my life would be miserable.

00:31But no, I'm a staunchy face, so Easter's just not a thing for me.

00:36Nobody buys me a chocolate egg now, but we always have a family Easter dinner.

00:40And we go to church on Easter Sunday. I go every other Sunday as well.

00:44But it's special.

00:46I've never believed even as a kid. I just listened to people.

00:49Even when mum took me to church, I just went, no, I don't get this.

00:52I don't get this. This makes no sense to me whatsoever.

00:55I just don't understand how summed up the skies tell me.

00:58No, I don't get it.
