00:00In order to quickly get the wrong information, especially now that the election is nearing,

00:06an online app, Contrafake News, was launched by the Cybercrime Investigation and Coordinating Center or CICC.

00:15Using the tool provided by the CICC,

00:18it will only take 30 seconds to get the information whether it is fake or not.

00:25According to the CICC, it has the right to give free information to the Commission on Elections,

00:30independent fact-checkers, and other institutions.

00:34Under the visa of a consultancy, the Presidential Communications Office, CICC,

00:39and SCAM Watch Philippines cooperated to prevent disinformation in the Philippines.

00:46The National Deepfake Task Force will also be formed to focus on social media content

00:51and to stop the abuse of social media.

00:55We have created the National Deepfake Task Force.

01:00Under the leadership of the Presidential Communications Office,

01:06it will be supported by the CICC, DICT, NBI, and other government offices

01:15that will help to stop the disinformation drive,

01:21not only against the government but against the individuals here in the country.

01:27Our social media is too bastardized and we have to address it.

01:32And this is one of the concrete actions we're taking.
