00:00A cybercrime investigation and coordinating center, or CICC, launched an online app called Contra Fake News.

00:07Its target is to quickly identify false information, especially in the coming days.

00:14The tool that CICC will buy will only take 30 seconds to identify fake or false information.

00:25According to CICC, it aims to give free information to the Commission on Elections,

00:30independent fact-checkers, and other institutions.

00:34Under the visa of a consultation, the Presidential Communications Office, CICC,

00:40and Scamwatch Philippines cooperated to track down disinformation in the country.

00:46The National Deepfake Task Force will also work on social media content

00:51to stop the abuse of social media.

00:56We have created the National Deepfake Task Force led by the Presidential Communications Office.

01:06It will be supported by CICC, DICT, NBI, and other government offices

01:16It helps to stop the disinformation drive, not only against the government,

01:23but against the individuals here in the country.

01:27Our social media is too bastardized and we have to address it.

01:32And this is one of the concrete actions we're taking.
