00:00Nebraska lies in the heart of Tornado Alley and gets its share of violent twisters.

00:08But what happens June 16, 2014 is one for the record books.

00:17Not one, but two tornadoes touching down at the same time.

00:22Well, these are very violent tornadoes. Each reached a maximum intensity of an EF4.

00:27Wind speeds around 160 miles an hour.

00:30When two tornadoes occur, you've literally doubled the potential for destruction.

00:37You've doubled that potential for any damage and any fatalities.

00:41One of the monstrous funnels bears down on a small farming community.

00:46This EF4 is not only powerful enough to level structures,

00:50the updraft suction at its core combined with vertical velocity are strong enough to lift two-story houses.
