Thousands of years ago, before the Romans, before the Greeks, even before the Old Kingdom of Egypt, an unknown people erected megalithic monuments on Earth. Their works span continents and millennia, leading us to believe that they were distinct, unrelated populations. But the similarity of the techniques used, the architectural principles and the engravings and sculptures indicate a common thought. It’s by examining the astronomical alignments, the geometry and the measurements of these monuments that we can be sure that they are all part of the same culture.

00:07How did we come to this?
00:18How did we go from here to here?
00:27In the blink of an eye on the cosmic scale,
00:33we human beings left Mother Nature with whom we had lived for millions of years
00:38to live in a world of squares.
00:42We traded the circular celestial space for the earthly right angle.
00:48The first monumental constructions of mankind mark this passage.
00:59Megaliths.
01:00Gigantic blocks of upright stone cutting through the horizon.
01:07Isolated, in alignments, arranged in circles or squares,
01:12they appear in their thousands all over the world.
01:16Almost indestructible witnesses of a forgotten era.
01:21No story, no history remains of this fundamental transition.
01:28Only the stones have come through this collective amnesia.
01:32But today, thanks to satellites, GPS, laser beams, computers,
01:37and the work of a few independent researchers,
01:41they are starting to tell their story.
01:46What they say is so extraordinary, so incredible,
01:51that we are going to have a hard time accepting it.
01:56These remnants from the dawn of time are going to transform the vision that we have of ourselves,
02:01the moment of who we are.
02:04Are you prepared?
02:31Because there is no longer there.
02:35The other kind of thing is that?
02:37The last part is being the plate that has formed behind the vision.
02:37That's what we do.
